A beautiful historic home in a great location. An easy, safe walk to restaurants, ice cream shops, the harbor, and museums downtown. A straight easy drive to the beach. Barbee is a kind person who makes you feel right at home. She is an excellent cook. Our breakfast was different every day. We ate cinnamon toast, waffles, eggs, bacon, and fresh fruit. Barbee gave us tips on where to eat and fun things to do. We enjoyed spending several days at this beautiful bed and breakfast.

Owner is very friendly and helpful and prepared a great breakfast. Victorian places tend to be a bit dark & cluttered, but accommodations were fine. Bathroom was a bit tiny, and they provided good parking off the street. Had to specifically request a hair dryer. Very close to all downtown attractions.

This house has a lived-in look, but is full of interesting furnishings. It has all modern conveniences including soda/coffee and delicious snacks available. Breakfast (no choice, but this is a small place) was excellent. Friendly owner. It is not in the most scenic part of Pensacola but you can walk to it. Parking is easy. Wi-fi good. I would clearly go again if in the area.

This is a low cost option walking distance from the main historic district. The home could be lovely, but needs extensive maintenance inside and out, and a deep cleaning. We were in the cupola room. It was spacious and could be lovely, but there was damage on the ceiling from a leak, and many of the furnishings should be refurbished or replaced including the mattress. The furnishings consist of period pieces combined with worn 1980's style decor. The water pressure was good and the shower had been renovated. The hostess seemed distracted. This is not a 'deal'. It's a 'you get what you pay for' scenario,

My husband and I had a lovely two night stay. Barbee is most gracious and it is a lovely old home. Breakfast was fresh and homemade each day - really hit the spot with fresh fruit. For dinner, Barbee recommended a restaurant to us that was so good we went back again the next day. I would stay there again if we ever came back to Pensacola. We had the largest room, which was HUGE. The only downside was the tub / shower was an antique claw foot tub, which was hard to get in and out of. I think the other rooms had regular showers, so would probably go for one of those next time. All in all, it was a wonderful visit.

My husband and I stayed here with another couple for a wedding we attended in Pensacola. First time staying in a B&B and we loved it! Barbee was so kind and welcoming when we arrived! Loved having some sodas in the fridge for guest and some sweet treats that were fabulous. We played games in the downstairs sitting area and had fun with our friends that stayed with us. Breakfast was great each morning! Fresh waffles and eggs were fantastic! We stayed in the Captain’s Room which had tons of space and felt like we went back in time. The B&B is walking distance to downtown. We went to the Farmer’s Market and one of the local breweries. We can’t wait to bring more family and friends and stay at this adorable Bed and Breakfast again!

Love Pensacola, back twice in two months. First place stayed was terrible, did not put us off. Found this wonderful establishment, run by a first class hostess. The breakfasts were worth waiting for. The Elizabeth room was just ideal, with all the period touches. Enjoyed our stay, met some wonderful people staying as well. Like it so much, will be our go to place whenever we are back in Pensacola.

Let me just start by saying we didn't actual get to stay here... Our plans got cancelled due to the coronavirus... Scheduled for May since everything is systematically being shut down, I was forced to call to see about canceling our reservations. It took her a day or so call me back, which she quickly apologized for.. she was being over run with cancellations from everyone. We talked about the situations and explaining we didn't get a choice and are forced to cancel ( the third party booking agency has a no cancellation policy) and while I understand..this is out of our control and hoping to at the least recoup some of the money ( they had a deposit) I was fine with losing that deposit but was hoping to not get stuck with the entire weekend since we were not allowed to come. She advised since she herself didn't book it we would have to call the third party, she was very sorry and wanted to help but doesn't have access to their site. I thanked her for being so kind and understanding, wished her the best.. hoping they make it through this.. we were really looking forward to staying with her. Well today I get a notification from the third party (Hotels.com) that the reservation had been canceled by the owner as they were "unable to process payment" That was her, she did that.. she made sure not only did we not have to pay for a weekend we could use but that my deposit was also returned (and probably to her own demise). I am sorry for the long post but this is important. We never got to even meet or stay there and look how she took care of us! I hope with all my heart her place survives this and we can repay that kindness she gave me by coming to stay with her. People like her are very few and far between so please if you are traveling her way, go stay with her!

This is a beautiful home in a convenient location if you want downtown Pensacola. However, it is extremely noisy and not restful at all. The breakfast is OK. We were disappointed that there were no bottles of water in the guest refrigerator and the soda was generic brand. For $125 per night we did expect a little more elegance. The home sits on a corner lot in downtown so you have traffic at all hours of the night and day. The landscaper was on site using all of his equipment at 7 AM Monday morning. We were in the captains room which was very nice. The only problem is that there is a window air conditioner so the sounds from outside travel very easily into the room; it sounds as if the window is open. The best part of the house is sitting on the front porch.

We enjoyed the one night stay. Comfortable. The small room requires use of bathroom a cross the hall. Excellent host and excellent breakfast. We’ll be back. It’s an old house. Great vibe. Very nice but needs some TLC. Nothing bothersome at all.
