Stopped because we were tired and the hotel was reasonable and convenient. The bed was comfy and it was clean. That was all we needed for the night. If we wanted the Marriott we would go there but this suited our purpose. AC worked well and fresh coffee in am. Not a place I would stay many days but overnight...

If you are diving Vortex Springs or Morrison Springs, this a basic but clean option. I travel with a small dog so I love that they are pet friendly. Not a luxury place by any means, but clean and functional, with a frig and microwave. Price is decent at $69 a night, but I think it is overpriced for the...

Overall for the price, when compared to other motels in the area, this is a very good motel for scuba divers. Rooms are nice and clean, with easy access from I-10 and within minutes of Vortex and Morrison Springs dive sites.

Building dated but seems ok. Owner quite nice and communicates well. The hotel web site indicates "recently remodeled". I suspect remodeling was mostly cosmetic. The shower diverter valve did not seat properly, only allowing 1/2 the water to reach the shower head, which was located at height of under 6 feet. Lavatory mixing faucet needed repairs. Room was otherwise clean....

I have stayed at this hotel twice over the years and both times I have found it to be a nice, clean hotel. The beds are very nice, and the rooms are clean. The owners are very nice. The rooms have a very large TV in them with a large selection of Dish Network stations. The only drawback (for me)...

Pros: proprietors seem nice. Rooms are clean with comfy beds, large screen TV, fridge, & microwave. Reasonable price. Cons: this property REALLY needs updating: the AC works, but is noisy & ancient. The appliances are thrown together in some sort of central area with a homemade plywood shelf for the TV electronics. Summary: if all you're looking for is a...

We have been staying here 4 times a year for 9 years and the stays are always great. The beds are more comfortable than the Ritz. Big flat screen TVs. Free wifi. Fridge, microwave and late checkouts. Daksa is so friendly and rates are great.

We stayed at the motel for dive certification at Vortex Springs. Older style motel with older facilities. It was good for our weekend stay, just to lay our heads down after an exhausting day. Serves the purpose, but could use renovation. Inexpensive at $59 a night though there is a $20 up charge for more than two people.

When I called the hotel we were headed to in Destin, I found out I booked it for the next night AND everywhere there was full! As fast as I could find a place to stay online, the exit came up and we were there. The Manager checked me in and was very friendly. We were all amazed at how...
