There is nothing worse than traveling all day and getting to your destination and then you are kept awake all night long by the hotel ac unit. Do not stay in room 105 if you are a light sleeper. Not only is the ac loud but it also has a metal rattle sound going on inside. The room is also...

I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. We are in the process of updating all of our air conditioning units, but unfortunately rooms 105 and 107, as well as our bar are the last few we have left to upgrade. I am glad to hear that our bartender was friendly. We would be more...

I liked this place and will be back. Depositions brought me to this place on a Wednesday and then again the next Sunday. I was in room 107 the first night. They warned me it was small and I might get noise from the bar. The noise I got was from the air conditioner. It let out a stentorian rattle...

A quaint place. Rooms clean. Bed comfortable. Liked the front & back door on suite. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Hen & rooster hangs around, liked them! Forgot their names. Thirsty Goat bar good place for cocktails. There's bicycles you can ride, & some are built for two. Would stay again.

My husband and I spent two nights here. The room was very clean and comfortable. The Inn is on a busy street and there is some traffic noise, but not enough to be distracting from inside (2nd floor). The breakfast was tasty and included a good variety. The Thirsty Goat bar is a neat place - outside or inside seating...

Great place to stay! We reserved the King Studio Suite (room 99), located on the back, left side of the hotel (when viewed from the front). Tastefully appointed with a connecting sitting area, the room was exceptionally comfortable during our short stay. Unlike the other reviews, we had no noise issues at all. Highly recommended!

Friends and I pulled our boat down from Atlanta for a couple of days of fishing. The port inn was a great nights sleep. This place has been updated where needed while keeping the classic service and cleanliness so many places have lost. Great breakfast for the fisherman who wants to get to the water with minimal stops in the...

This hotel is very homey. Clean rooms. Great location. You can walk to the downtown area. The Gulf is right across the street. Bed was very comfortable. There is a bar right downstairs with live music. We will stay here again.

It is difficult making claims but when we checked into a cottage at this hotel, there was a note on the counter stating the room had been treated for bugs the day before. We used one bedroom and the other front bedroom was used to lay my open luggage on it. My husband laid his in our bedroom of use....

I'm sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience on your recent trip. The card was left to inform our guests the cottage was treated for our monthly Preventative pest control. It is unfortunate that this courtesy that we provide was mistaken in this instance.

The Port Inn is a great little locally owned independent hotel. Quaint local decorating, clean quiet rooms, good AC, friendly staff. The all you can eat breakfast is a quite a deal. It's a great spot as a base for further exploration of the area.

Adorable local hotel in a renovated building that still maintains many older features but with modern convenience. We stayed one night between arriving and moving over to our beach house. We had a room with 2 double beds. There's not lots of extra floor room, but it wasn't a problem for us. Beds were nice, comfy, with white linens and...
