We've stayed here for many years and it suits us but may not suit everyone. Realize there are two campgrounds in the park. The Gulf Breeze campground is relatively open and sandy, and the middle section is crowded. This campground does have one very modern shower facility which is nice and one of the older ones which is functional. Access...

Not many parks ON the beach. This one is nice! Full access, easy walk, no stairs, pull your wagon or beach cart. We're a fishing family. Apparently we're not the only ones. Lots of fishermen out there on a beautiful October weekend. All we caught was whiting but they were plentiful and yummy! Love the showers. A door AND a...

We have been coming here for several years and usually we have a awesome time but this trip wasn't that great. The pot holes have grown, people partying until 2 & 3 in the morning, (only saw the park rangers maybe twice the 9 days we were there) People using our lot as a cut-through (nothing better than having noisy...

I've been camping (tent) at this park for years and I absolutely love it. It doesn't matter when or how often I go, I always am filled with peace and serenity when I am there. I love the wooded areas of the campground that allows for shade on those hot summer days. The wildlife (racoons, deer, etc.) is a joy...

This is one of the nicest campgrounds around. The beaches are beautiful and pet friendly and the campground is very well kept. Lots of wildlife to view and the fishing/scalloping was a blast. The park staff is very friendly and helpful and the facilities are kept up very well. Very nice having a boat ramp in the park and the...

We drove in for the day, hiked on a trail on the Bay side, then drove to one of the public beach access points near the concession. There was a change room facility with bathrooms and outdoor showers. The beach on the gulf side was beautiful, as was the water temperature. Beach was clean but a tad windy. One unexpected...

We love this park but our motor home will only cool effectively with 50 amps of power. I wish this park provided that. Beautiful park though. The ocean wildlife was amazing. It was easy to put the boat in and out. We were not able to bring our RV though bc of the amp size.

First of all, we absolutely adore this incredible park and consider it one of the crown jewels of the FL state park system. The scrub forest, bay and gulf, dunes, and beautiful seclusion make it one of our favorite places in all of Florida. This year, we were lucky enough to snag a cabin reservation for our kids' spring break,...

We love this place and keep going back . It has so much to offer nature lovers. There is a board walk around a wetland, a short walk to a nine mile uncrowned beach, a dune wilderness for hiking, plenty of paved biking, good shelling on the beach or bay, a marina that rents kayaks, etc. and a trading post nearby...
