When I stay at a Hilton Garden Inn, I expect stellar standards and an eye toward contemporary trends and décor. This one is no different, and I’m happy to report that it meets the bar and then some. We stayed overnight in a room with 1 King bed and it was clean and well-kept. The bathroom had a modern design with a glass shower, and the hotel itself is located within a quiet enclave of the PGA area. There is no complimentary breakfast offered, so be prepared to pay for coffee that is a step up from what you get in the room, or for any food if you do not want to fend for yourself elsewhere. I don’t think this really detracts from the offerings; quiet, clean, and modern sensibilities are the minimum for a Hilton Garden Inn, and one could do worse than staying here.

This Hilton is located right on route 98 and convenient to all the shops and restaurants on Port St. Lucie Blvd. 5 minute drive to Clover Field and across the street from the PGA golf course. Rooms are comfortable with a Keurig machine, ironing board, iron, hair dryer etc. Lemon water with lots of ice is always available by the elevators and coffee/tea in the morning. Pool area is beautiful with towels to use. Lobby has huge table for large groups. We go every year to see the Mets in Spring Training and it never disappoints!

This is an “update” to a previous review (which I have since deleted). My husband & I travel an average of 3-6 days every 1-2 months for his work. We prefer to stay at Hilton properties when close to the worksite and have never had any “issues”. This time there was a $30 erroneous charge on my bill for a movie. I had to make 3 phone calls, leaving messages for a manager to get the charge corrected. That was a little frustrating. I was also a little confused as to why the handicap room my elderly parents stayed in was so far from the elevator (the very last room on the hall of the furthest wing from the elevator, my 80yo mother has shortness of breath, uses a cane &/or walker and moves very slow). Over all our stay was pleasant. The hotel staff was pleasant and the onsite restaurant offered delicious food. I don’t play golf but there were a lot of golfers walking to & from the hotel so courses must be very close. There’s plenty of shopping within a mile or two. We plan to stay here again in the near future and hope there are no issues.

While visiting family in PSL we stayed at the HGI. The area was great, the room was clean, nice pool. We really enjoyed our stay. Gigi at the front desk was very helpful and the rest of the staff, when we needed more towels they were up to our room within minutes of the request.

A bit disappointed at the website, says there is a business center, there is not, ( I needed something printed) also says there is lunch/dinner at Sam Snead's there is not. They ONLY serve breakfast and the restaurant is closed the rest of the days. Also they advertise Sam Sneads on the site yet that isn't even the restaurant on site.

We didn't have a great view but we slept so good. No doors slamming like in some hotels. The lobby and sitting area around the pool were very nice, clean, and quiet.

After my reservation at the local Residence Inn by Mariott was cancelled without notice due to a 'plumbing emergency', I was unexpectedly transferred here for my 3-night stay with three teenage boys for our annual Spring Training trip. The staff at the Hilton could not have been more accommodating, starting with the moment they found out about our cancellation right through checkout. Francesca and Gigi at the front desk were able to put us in a comparable room at the same rate, provided us with complimentary continental breakfast each day of our stay, and provided us 3 tickets to one of the Mets games. This all from the RECEIVING hotel. The Mariott offered us nothing for our troubles and frustration nor seemed to care that we had been displaced after being loyal customers for 10 years in a row. I will never spend another penny on a Marriott property and have been won over by the staff and facilities at the Hilton Garden Inn in Port St. Lucie.

This property is tucked away in PGA village right next to the interstate which is really convenient.

Staff were all very nice. Front desk staff were always accomodating and the restaurant staff helped me open a can. Housekeeper even helped us move luggage to the car!

Rooms are very spacious and clean. I happened to be in a suite on the ground floor sandwiched between two other suites and noise was not an issue. Only downside was that this suite had a hairdryer that was so old the surface was starting to become sticky.

A nicely renovated property that struggles with service issues. The restaurant has not reopened yet so you may want to keep that in mind.

The staff tries but is disorganized. And the minor issues become frustrating as they compound. No housekeeping services unless you explicitly request them (not a problem if the front desk staff remembered to let you know that when you check in (they didn’t) so you don’t return in the evening to a dirty room. Would be nice if the housekeeping staff remembered to put two sets of towels in the room (nope) and if the TV remote worked properly (it didn’t).

Fair warning - do not get a room near the elevators. The soundproofing for the room door is poor. End of the hall is a much better choice.

That said, the room furnishings are new, the place is clean and it was reasonably priced.

Looking for a property in the Port St Lucie area, I picked the HGI PGA Port St Lucie. The property is located conveniently close to the PGA Village and is located a short distance off I-95. The property has a large lobby area great for socializing, an area outside the lobby area with wicker furniture for a relaxing rest, and a pool and hot tub.

Gigi handled my check-in and check-out, recognizing my Diamond status and ensuring I was set up for the Hilton dining credit which we used one morning for breakfast and the second morning for pantry items. Once we got in our room, we realized the refrigerator was obviously not working. A call to the front desk had a maintenance man to the room and bringing a replacement refrigerator which was already cool when installed, all within 15 minutes.

While we were not at the property that much during our stay, the property was an excellent choice for a stay.

If the TravelGuy is returning to this area in the future, the Hilton Garden Inn PGA Port St Lucie will certainly receive consideration.

If you’re looking for a quite, comfortable and clean hotel this is your place. Don’t expect a lot of warm welcomes and interaction from the staff. When I say quiet, I mean quiet. Like a library quiet. Which has its benefits. There is no bar or evening meal at this HGI. As a Diamond for over 10 years one of the reasons I prefer HGI is the bar and restaurant. This hotel is the exception. The breakfast is…. Well let me just say…. Pass on the breakfast. The food quality is very poor… I should have figured that when I entered the restaurant and there were 10-12 dirty tables and every abandoned plate had about 80% of the food uneaten. I thought that was odd but now I know why! The food is terrible! As for service…Its pretty much self serve. There is no service to speak of. You will have to find someone to give them your order, go find/get your own utensils, water (to include refills). So for a quiet, clean room, this is your place. But to eat, its worth the money WELL worth the money to go somewhere else. EVEN if you’re a Diamond!

The hotel is under renovation so there are a lot of amenities not available. That not withstanding, the newly renovated rooms are poorly thought out. There is no safe, the walls are painted dark brown (what a horrible choice), there is no makeup mirror or place to do makeup other than the bathroom (not great for those with vision issues) and the lighting, or should I say lack of lighting is awful. There is a little alcove with a keurig, microwave and refrigerator that has no light; I had to use the flashlight on my phone to see the instructions on the keurig and poor the water in the right place. NO overhead lighting in the living area at all. The lights that are in place are quite dim and do not make up for the lack of lighting (or dark walls) at all. I did my makeup in front of the window with my handheld compact. Good thing it was sunny when we were there.

Good Afternoon Erikderek, You may contact us about the Bed & Breakfast package which is going to be your most cost effective rate, please make sure to clarify how many children and adults will be in the room as the rate will increase per person. Any child over the age of 12 would have to be considered as an adult with regard to breakfast. Without the package, ADULTS: Hot buffet and cook-to-order breakfasts are $12.95 + tax; Children under 12: cold & hot buffets, are $7.95 + tax; Children under 6 are free.

Good Evening, I am sorry if you have experienced anything other than what is expected. All rooms are cleaned daily and linens are replaced after each guest has checked out. The only exception would be if there is a DND sign on the door or if someone else in the room with you has requested no service. For long-term stays, we only replace the linens on each 3rd day to comply with Hilton conservation efforts unless the guest requests the linens to be replaced daily. I hope this clears things up for you and we hope to have you with us soon!
