We have been staying at B&B's for around 40 years, and it is the opportunity to converse with the owners and guests that we find most appealing. Richard and Tina couldn't have been better hosts and we truly enjoyed spending time with them. The house itself was beautiful, with many unique pieces. We stayed in Louise's Loft, a spacious, comfortable...

A truly beautiful and historical bed & breakfast. They could no have gone any further to be great hosts. Honestly above and beyond expectations. The rooms were unbelievably gorgeous, the home was over 100 years old and decorated to feel and suite it's glory.

After many hours of driving on a dark, rainy, cold night...what a joy to see McFarlin House all lit up and waiting for us. Yummy breakfast after a good night's sleep. Great conversation with the other couple staying there. A lovely and comfortable home!

We hosted my son's rehearsal dinner at the McFarlin House. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The house is gorgeous. The staff is very accommodating. We would definitely go there again. I would recommend this to my friends.

We lucked into this experience after the sticker shock on the Tallahassee motels during parent's weekend. For a fraction of the price we drove a short distance to this lovely B&B. Well worth the drive! Because it was a busy weekend, we had one of the rooms at the top of the inn. The room was just big enough, the...

We have been staying at the McFarlin house for years. It's a step back in time to quieter gentler time. I always feel like I've had a vacation after staying just two nights. Richard and Tina are great hosts and delicious cooks. The breakfasts are the best!

We were on our way from St.Augustine to New Orleans and rather than stay in one of the cities on the way, chose McFarlin House. The house was very comfortable, quiet and the town of Quincy had some great old houses and lovely architecture. Richard and Tina were great hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We spent 1 night at McFarlin house in Oct. 2014 on the way to the beach. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. The occupancy was low so we were allowed to look in all unoccupied rooms. They each had their own distinct charm and all were well appointed with flat-screened TV's, DVD players, iron/ironing boards, bath robes, and...

Richard and Tina have restored an elegant showpiece of a home and make you feel at home when visiting Tallahassee. As others mentioned they strike the balance between being gracious and attentive hosts and ensuring you enjoy the quiet and privacy you may be seeking in your weekend getaway. Breakfast is a beautiful and complete spread of breads and muffins...
