Thirty four years ago we spent our honeymoon in St.Augustine. This year we chose The Southern Wind Inn for our stay. It was perfect. Scott,Donna, and their staff provided a wonderful full breakfast each morning with the best coffee and fresh fruit. We stayed in the Veranda room which was as comfortable as it was beautiful. This lovely inn is also...

Not all as advertised. While the location is great, breakfasts lack variety. Always some type of egg dish. More of buffet than a served breakfast. Coffee not available until 8am. Room was tired and very dusty. Also very cold. No way to adjust air conditioning. Dangerously bad driveway, all cracked and twisted. Not very welcoming compared to other B&B's in...

My wife and I had our first b and b experience together and had a great time. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We don't have a ton of b and b experience but we had a great time! We highly recommend the veranda room.

Just got back from a trip to St. Augustine with my daughter, and stayed at the Southern Wind Inn. Perfect location, host was gracious, parking included, private entrance, with all the amenities necessary for a great time! Although needs updating and some TLC, I recommend this B&B for your trip to St. Augustine.

I have stayed in four bed and breakfasts in the southeastern United States (three in St.. Augustine), and I was interested in trying a new one. I love St. Augustine, and I decided I wanted to be close to the heart of Old Town. I searched extensively online and Southern Wind Inn looked appealing and a bit more affordable than...

My mom and I stayed here for a girls weekend and had such a great time! The Inn is beautiful and so close to everything in the old part of St. Augustine. We didn't need our car until we left! Delicious breakfast and warm hospitality....definitely would stay again!

This B & B has a great location. It's an easy walk to the main area of town and restaurants. The customer service didn't live up to expectations or the advertisements. While the breakfast was sufficient they didn't start serving until 8 and coffee wasn't available earlier. They did have refreshments one afternoon as advertised, but the next day there...

We spent 2 nights in the Coquina room with a private entrance to parking in the back. Other than a distant train it was very quiet. It was clean and a great location for walking to the historic district, Castillo De San Marcos, marina, etc. No hot beverages in the room and coffee wasn't served until 7:45. We missed brkfst...

Cross between hotel and b&b. B&b. Rooms and location. Hotel breakfast quality. Met our needs just fine. Comfortable room, good location, parking good for us but tight if u have larger vehicle. Best music at MiCasa on nearby St. George street after 4pm!

We chose this B&B because it's a little cheaper that similar places in the area, and it was perfectly nice - the location was great! Previous reviews are correct, though, that it's looking a little run down in places (uneven floor, chipping paint) and that the breakfast is pretty rough (we didn't even bother the second morning). I don't think...
