We stayed at the Pirate Haus Inn for two nights in the Captain's Quarters (Room 8). This room can comfortably accommodate 8 people with a king bed and three sets of bunk beds. It also has a private bath. Our crew consisted of two adults and four children (9, 10, 11, & 12). The location cannot be beaten as we... More

Traveling as a single parent with 6 kids in tow is a challenge. Most hotels won't accommodate and condos are beyond the budget. I took a chance on this - and was not disappointed. The room was spacious and - for the only time in a 4 week road trip - everyone had their own bed. I was pleasantly surprised... More

Great place to stay for the family in the heart of Saint Augustine!!! Walking distance to all the local attractions. The service is great and the staff treat you like family. If you're lucky to get the hotel parking then it's only $5 a night if not then you have to find local parking, which can be a pain and... More

We're working on continuous improvement, but it's an old building that doesn't belong to me, but since I'm a big kid, I try to make sure the littler kids have a good time too. Thanks for becoming part of our family, even for just a few nights... Capn Conrad More

Perfect location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, good price... you can't beat it! We enjoyed the personalized pancake breakfast in the community kitchen and the giant connect4 in the playroom the most. It was a wonderful experience and it made our vacation even more special. My kids (9 and 12) enjoyed it so much more than the fancy beachfront... More

One can afford to enjoy the charming city of St Augustine with lodgings like this! The rooms are perfectly fine, more than adequate, with a small refrigerator in each. The murals on the walls are beautiful and fun and gave character and atmosphere to our room. The inn's location is central and convenient. The staff is helpful and friendly. Our... More

We had a warm welcome when we arrived at the Pirate Haus and our room had en suite bathroom. It was a good sized room with air conditioning that worked very well. The pancakes for breakfast were just the thing, and it was very handy to be able to use the fridge and kitchen, with fresh coffee in the mornings.... More

I'm sure that a review will never do this place the justice it deserves. We absolutely loved this experience. The location is right in Old City and we didn't mind the flight of steps even with two little ones. Yes, some things are outdated; the windows and walls are thin, steps and floorboards creek, and our tub wasn't fillable due... More

Thank you for your review and thank you for staying with us. We are looking into redoing the bathroom tubs into shower stalls at some point. Actually the walls are pretty thick plaster on lathe, but they didn't have insulation back then!. The doors however are not as thick as your normal hotel doors. More

We stayed in the pirate room. Loved the maps on the wall and the murals. The room had 2 sets of bunk beds and a queen size bed. They were all very comfortable. The room also had a mini fridge. The kitchen is nice. Full access to the kitchen really makes you feel at home. The best part is that... More

Thank you for your review and thank you for choosing us for your stay. We did replace the shower head because we didn't realize the old one's tubing would not keep the shower head in place. As soon as we find out from a guest that there is a problem we do our best to fix it as soon as... More

"Cold-booked" a one-night stay for my daughter and I at Pirate Haus Inn, not knowing anything about it other than what we read on booking website. After our stay, I can say that I'd never stay elsewhere in St Augustine! What a charming little place! The price was nice, the location fabulous, and the charm was more than you could... More

I recently decided to explore St. Augustine for the first time with a long-time friend, and while looking on line for a place to stay I found the Pirate Haus. Its location in the heart of the Old City really grabbed my interest, but the pirate theme got me too as my birthday is on Talk Like A Pirate Day!... More
