I have been here twice....and will return again! The kids love it. I love it. Conrad and his staff are wonderful! Maybe a 10 minute ride to the beach....or if you have the Old Town Trolley pass, it includes the Beachline ride. There is a beach line stop within walking distance from Pirate Haus. It's across the square. Maybe 2...

Yes! Thank your for staying with us and glad we scored 5 stars with our target market, parents with kids and couples without a trust fund. And you're right about the parking...If you have a Suburban or a chevy/RAM/Ford dually, please take us up on our offer to park on our dime at the parking garage, or you can park...

My family and I have stayed at the Pirate Haus Inn many times and we recently finished a five night stay. This place is,in a word, AWESOME! The room and inn were super clean and the staff were fantastic! Captain Conrad made us pancakes (regular, banana, blueberry) every morning and he always made sure sure the kids (ages 5 and...

Now I've done it.... provided a level of hospitality I can't keep up! Some guests get to be like family by just being super nice and y'all fit the bill. There is a saying in the B&B business "All of our guests bring us joy. Some when arriving and some when leaving." Y'all fit firmly in the former! Thanks again...

Considering restaurants, the fort, old churches and St. George st. shopping district you could not be in a better Spot in the historic district of St. Augustine! Looking for a spur of the moment vaca on a budget my wife and I came across The Pirate Haus Inn. With two younger girls and an infant This place seemed worth the...

Thank you for your review Kevin! We definitely do not suggest our inn for 'High Maintenance' types!!!! That's what big chain hotels are for!! After you check in, we don't go into the rooms unless asked, so if you need new towels, floors vacuumed, garbage taken out or anything, you have but to ask at the front desk which is...

We stayed at the Pirate Haus Inn for two nights in the Captain's Quarters (Room 8). This room can comfortably accommodate 8 people with a king bed and three sets of bunk beds. It also has a private bath. Our crew consisted of two adults and four children (9, 10, 11, & 12). The location cannot be beaten as we...

Traveling as a single parent with 6 kids in tow is a challenge. Most hotels won't accommodate and condos are beyond the budget. I took a chance on this - and was not disappointed. The room was spacious and - for the only time in a 4 week road trip - everyone had their own bed. I was pleasantly surprised...

Thank you for your review! I think we are one of the few places where 6 kids are right up our alley! Better homes and Gardens May 2016 issue rated us in one of the top 10 B&B's for Family Fun!

Great place to stay for the family in the heart of Saint Augustine!!! Walking distance to all the local attractions. The service is great and the staff treat you like family. If you're lucky to get the hotel parking then it's only $5 a night if not then you have to find local parking, which can be a pain and...

We're working on continuous improvement, but it's an old building that doesn't belong to me, but since I'm a big kid, I try to make sure the littler kids have a good time too. Thanks for becoming part of our family, even for just a few nights... Capn Conrad

Perfect location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, good price... you can't beat it! We enjoyed the personalized pancake breakfast in the community kitchen and the giant connect4 in the playroom the most. It was a wonderful experience and it made our vacation even more special. My kids (9 and 12) enjoyed it so much more than the fancy beachfront...

One can afford to enjoy the charming city of St Augustine with lodgings like this! The rooms are perfectly fine, more than adequate, with a small refrigerator in each. The murals on the walls are beautiful and fun and gave character and atmosphere to our room. The inn's location is central and convenient. The staff is helpful and friendly. Our...

We had a warm welcome when we arrived at the Pirate Haus and our room had en suite bathroom. It was a good sized room with air conditioning that worked very well. The pancakes for breakfast were just the thing, and it was very handy to be able to use the fridge and kitchen, with fresh coffee in the mornings....

I'm sure that a review will never do this place the justice it deserves. We absolutely loved this experience. The location is right in Old City and we didn't mind the flight of steps even with two little ones. Yes, some things are outdated; the windows and walls are thin, steps and floorboards creek, and our tub wasn't fillable due...

Thank you for your review and thank you for staying with us. We are looking into redoing the bathroom tubs into shower stalls at some point. Actually the walls are pretty thick plaster on lathe, but they didn't have insulation back then!. The doors however are not as thick as your normal hotel doors.
