I stayed a weekend there for a wedding and it was the most convenient place and most quiet, peaceful, and relaxing area to stay at. There are several rooms and each are very private areas and is right downtown. It is a much more organized and a better environment than the Buccaneer or any other place on the island.

Wonderful old inn. All the rooms are named and we stayed in Nautical. The staff was friendly, the room clean and comfortable. The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook with for dinner including a little stove with an oven. The bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up. Nice big soft towels as well. I loved the...

Just left the Inn. It is in disrepair .I was told they were remodeling but somethings just speak out loud to poor caregiving. Grounds were unkept - weeds instead of grass, fixtures that were moldy and dirty, actually saw rat/rodent droppings on front porch. Just doesn't look loved. If you want to see a wonderfully kept Inn drive over to...

I stay here frequently when I visit my daughter's family on the island. The room was comfortable and big enough for 3 people to sleep comfortably. I stayed in the Blue Heron room. The staff is welcoming and very helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed, low-key, and the best part for me is that it is pet-friendly. I have my small...

We wanted to give SGI a try without breaking the bank for a week of possible disappointment. So I booked this Inn online and reserved the wrong dates, one call to Melinda and all was well. She went above and beyond to make us happy. Our room was the Sunrise. It was clean, nice bed and a high pressure shower...

St George is a beautiful island and the St. George Inn is located right where you want to be. The rooms are all different decor, they are themed and each room has a name. The rooms are cozy, they have a kitchenette and are comfortable and clean. I would call St. George boutique. They have a good staff.

Thank you for taking the time to leave another review. We are addressing the room issues. We've started with a fresh coat of paint. New furnishings. The internet was out in the entire state of Florida. If there had been anything we could've done, I promise you we would have. We have been working very hard to upgrade the Inn....

We waited to the last minute to book a room for a weekend in March. Wanted to be near the beach in the Apalachicola area so picked this Inn. The location is right over the bridge to SGI about a block from the historic lighthouse and in the center of the commercial strip. Bring ear plugs. The Inn is poorly...

Great little inn on SGI. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind, especially Melinda! The rooms aren't five star resort status, but we were comfortable and felt at home here. It's a very cozy little hotel with unique rooms and a great location. Just a block away from the beach and the rooms are well maintained. No sand or stink...
