If you are looking for a Florida getaway that is NOT in the middle of a tourist location - large hotels, many cars, thousands of people and t-shirt stores - then Pass-a-Grille and the Coconut Inn are an excellent choice and a great location. Half a block walk to either the Gulf of Mexico or the North Channel. The Coconut...

The inn is just a few steps from the beach on the quiet lower end of St. Pete's Beach. The room was small but had a fully equipped kitchen area, a table and chairs, tiny bathroom and a very comfortable bed and pillows. It was perfect for a few days at the beach.

Coconut Inn is in great location, 90 steps to beach and built like I would spec my own cottage. Grilling and gazebo area makes the overall feel of being in your own home. Pass-A-Grille is nice and slow old Florida with lots to do when/if you leave the peninsula.

Staying at the Coconut Inn is pure delight. One block from the beach, several good restaurants and shops in walking distance and the cleanest rooms.l Also, the staff is so pleasant. Have been coming for three years and hope to make it four!

My husband and I had a long weekend getaway in Pass-A-Grill. The Coconut Inn was a delight. The grounds are beautiful, and the staff was very attentive. The location was perfect. I enjoyed it very much.

Perfect location, Eddie is a doll, and rooms are kept clean and well stocked with necessities. Bathrooms are tiny, but not important to us! Easy walk to the beach, beach bar for sunset drinks, and local restaurants. A good deal of road construction/ sewers going in on the main road and we are afraid Pass a Grille will be discovered...

The location is superb -- near to the beach, shops, restaurants, fishing, and all the things you want from a vacation. The staff is very accommodating, especially, Eddie and his crew. I hesitate to expand on the wonderful inn, as I don't want it to become too popular! What an ideal and quaint inn! We enjoyed the outdoor lounge and...

We have been returning here for many years and are never disappointed. You may come here for the beach but you keep coming back for the clean, quiet property and above all the staff. Very well maintained, always making improvements, and Eddie and Emigdio and the staff truly care about their guests in a sincere and unobtrusive way. We truly feel...

“If you staying for more than a few days, you will enjoy the extra space in a 1 or 2 bedroom suite. The studio room is cozy. No elevator so if walking up one flight up steps is not for you, then choose room on ground floor.”
