This hotel was the worst lodging experience you could imagine. The room was dirty, the room key didn't work correctly, music was blasting until late in the evening and drunk guests kept us awake most of the night, as they were yelling and talking loudly. Way too many people, including staff were smoking throughout the facility. The drinks were expensive...

Really great experience here. :) Was traveling with two straight men and myself which were not uncomfortable staying here because everyone was friendly and no one bothered us. The rooms are a bit dated as other reviews point out, so I hope they do remodel. That is the only negative though. I rated this hotel as 'excellent' in spite of...

First off, I booked this hotel unknowing it was geared towards gays and lesbians. With that said, I was very welcomed. The staff was nice, and Terry was amazing. The room I stayed in was outdated, which is why I gave 4 stars, but good news is they're remodeling them! The front desk was polite, the food was very good...

Starting with the front desk Clifton and Angie always greet you with a big smile and a great friendly attitude! 2nd is the rooms I have always received are clean and I always get great room service from Josette. The shows are always enjoyable and the bartenders always make sure your glass is always full.

First off, let me say that we chose this place knowing it was on the campy/seedy side. We read the reviews and had an idea what we were in for. That being said, we were regretting the choice within the first hour. We were told we were in an "updated" room, and I can only imagine what it was like...

While many places are comparable in this area for relaxed casual room and board my midwinter break was a perfect way to get away from the snow up north and visit with some great folks on the Gulf Coast. The rooms are perhaps 1970's vintage but nicely kept and certainly adequate for a comfortable stay. The only challenge I had...

“Punched by a pattren Sunday August 21, 2016 at the Flamingo Hoel”

1 of 5 stars Pending review

Yesterday, I came to the Flamingo Hotel for tea dance like I do most Sundays. I happened to be using the waterslide the hotel had set up. After getting out of the pool to go down the slid again, there was a guy with his "leather toy boy" in toe. Deck was wet and I lost my footing a bit and brushed against the "boy toy". Apologized and commented on his looks. Well his "master" didn't take lightly to it and cold cocked me in the chest.

I immediately went into the Code Bar and asked for security. When no one came I walked outside and saw the "young lady" security guard talking to the guy who hit me. At this point I became outraged and went to the front desk and asked them to call the police. While waiting for the police to come the General Manager, Randy, was called. While waiting for the police I was calling my bank because my debit card was stolen. Randy was trying to interrupt me while I was on the phone with the bank. At this point I was beyond upset. He kept telling me to sit down. I told him I was calling my bank and waiting for the police. He then told me to leave the property.

I was the one struck by his other pattern and I was told to leave. I walked out to the side walk and waited for the police. Four scout cars arrived. One officier took my information and the other ones went and talked with Randy the so called inept manager. I was given a trespassing paper stating I was not allowed back on the property. BE AWAIRE THAT IF YOU GET PUNCHED IN THE CHEST BY A SO CALLED "MASTER" IT'S OK.

I tried calling the hotel back several times to get the owner's name. The desk clerk was upright RUDE!! He wouldn't give me the information.

I asked if it was always allowed to have their guest's "gay bashed". His response was, "how can you be gay bashed at a gay hotel". I wonder how far this guy got through school to have that type of answer.

I already called Channel 10 news and told them what happened. They requested I email them what happened and they would contact me right away.

I have already contacted my attorney and plan to take full legal action against the flamingo resort and the person that hit me.
