i was here for a boxing event and this hotel was awesome great beds and clean and walking track. restaurant downstairs was too expensive. but the customer service was outstanding i had a room problem but 'Chellie mccardle' took care of it and it was resolved she should be manager the way she took control and handled the situation. parking was great close to near by food places i will stay here again.

This is our home when we come to Tampa Bay, an area in which we've kissed a lot of frogs, hotel-wise. The Carillon is not only beautifully set on a small lake ringed by groves of trees, the staff is to a person genuinely happy to be there, from the front desk to the folks making sure the grounds are kept clean. We generally opt for a suite with a balcony looking east, affording views of the lake. The rooms are well appointed - the usual Hilton standard - and the beds comfortable. The gym is better than average, the bar/restaurant has plenty of room inside and out. As a bonus, we enjoy that the Carillon tends to be more of a business hotel during the week, so we get some pool time when we feel it. We always leave happy with our time spent here. One note: the concierge lounge is not open and there are no plans to open it, and Hilton's breakfast policy is less than generous, so beware. That's not on the hotel, but the corporation. Someone should do something, though, as newcomers may not be so sanguine.

Stayed two nights, Saturday and Sunday. The hotel property is very well maintained including the Carillon habitat area and walkways behind the hotel. Front lobby personnel professional and helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant/bar area and were pleasantly pleased. Food was very good, bartender and staff friendly. Atmosphere inviting.

This was our third stay at this hotel. It has used Covid as an excuse to overcharge and under serve. You get no maid service or coffee service but top room rates. Garbage, empty beer bottles and dirty towels sat on the floors of the hallways and overflowing garbage cans were not cleaned. They say they clean high touch surfaces frequently. Never saw it. The signs say masks required in the lobby but there is no enforcement/compliance. The elevator is “limited to 3” persons except it isn’t. The pool had literally dozens of folks. At 8 am there were dirty towels and trash on the floor of the fitness center. If there really is no Covid safety protocols, why not bring back daily room cleaning and coffee but allow skittish guests to opt out? On the plus side, the water pressure in the shower was great, the front desk attendants always say hello when you walk by, and the nature path is delightful.

Lots of potential, but some serious flaws in management and operation. The property is attractive on the surface - nice landscaping and pool area, renovated dining room. BUT very unprofessional in the way it's being managed. When we arrived, the front desk gave us keys to a room that was still being cleaned. Ok, people make mistakes. Then we returned later that afternoon to try to get into the same room and the keys didn't work because they gave our room to someone else (but didn't inform us)! They then tried to smooth things over by "upgrading" us to a handicapped room that I neither booked nor wanted! That room had a shower that would literally stop running mid-stream with erratic water pressure and temperature. So the next day, we moved rooms again. Then I asked to have housekeeping clean the room and was told that I needed to have requested that the day before, but they would make an "exception" and service the room. Meanwhile, I was traveling with other people who were explicitly asked about their housekeeping preferences at check-in (I was not). Nevertheless, the room was still never made up. I wouldn't expect this kind of service anywhere, but certainly not at a property charging these $300+/nt prices. I will never be back here and will avoid Hiltons at all costs as I don't trust their managerial abilities... Save yourself a lot of stress (and wasted money) and stay somewhere else!

I worked many years ago for Hilton International in Italy and I know perfectly the quality standards so I have been VERY disappointed with my stay. Initially there is NO more bell-boys service, nor is there any service (staff) at the pool for towels or to request a drink. The worst experience I had was with the room service, I requested a plate of pasta and they took me to my room with a plate of salty pasta, overcooked and the worst with a whole raw carrot (12 cms) on the plate. I have NEVER eaten anything so disgusting, I do NOT understand how the quality of a Hilton hotel can be so low. . . especially with prices so high and uncompetitive as other chains. I am a director of a luxury tourism company and if those situations had been had by a client of ours they would NEVER come back to us. . . but I do NOT understand how the general management of the hotel or the Food & Beverage manager does not realize the LOW level of food that leaves the restaurant.

Recently spent a quick one night stay here while visiting a nearby college. After realizing it is high season in the area, with very high prices on the beaches nearby, we decided to stay here and were very happy with the choice! Very friendly staff at check in. We had a king suite and it was very nice and spacious. It was clean and well kept. We had a nice, huge balcony, but it appeared to have not been cleaned for some time - with cigarette butts on the floor. It is in a business park, which worked well for us, but realize it is not in a very walkable environment. However, there is a boardwalk around the lake, and I really enjoyed running around that and seeing lots of wildlife, including alligators and turtles. After looking all around for our stay, this place is a great value, and very comfortable place to stay.

This place looks very pretty but the cleaning is horrible. I stayed and paid a higher price compare with others hotel, expecting to have memories unforgettable of my 27th anniversary and ended in a not stop dissatisfaction since the room was very dusting, and the cleaning staff very noisy in the hall on yo of that couldn’t stay at the hotel because in the middle of my stay was a fire inspection, they should inspect more the cleaning of the room since I ended with a lot of allergy due to the dust. I required to leave a day early and they didn’t want to refund that night because it was a third party reservation. So after I left requested a full refund and the manager answered that it was impossible. I recommend everyone not to stay in this hotel if you want to enjoy your stay. Never again and the location far away from everything.

Visited St.Pete area for the long NYE weekend and checked in early on Friday 12/31. Check in process was smooth and I was given a nice room with a balcony with a view overlooking the pool and the lake on the 6th floor Rm 624.
The room was well appointed with a 45 inch flat screen and comfy desk and chair where I could setup my laptop and phone/iPad charging. the fitness was large and above average for a hotel with treadmills and dumb bells with a pool view
The hotel is located close to St.Pete which has a really nice walkable with cafes downtown, and about 20 minutes from Tampa. There is a 1 hr ferry from downtown St.Pete to Tampa
As a Hilton Diamond member I was given complimentary bottles of water but not breakfast passes, which I found unusual, but not a big deal as there are plenty of eating spots pretty close by.
The only downside was that the bed was sagging near the balcony side but not too bad on the room door facing side. I complained about and they sent someone who "rotated" the mattress, but nothing changed.
I have deducted 1 star from my rating due to this reason

The room was very clean, no problem about that. Breakfast room too small (because of renovations) for the amount of people that were waiting for breakfast and very expensive for the quality of the food. No micowaves in the rooms. They had one by the front desk but there was a line of people wanting to use it.

Not sure of there are rooms on the main floor, but every hotel has to have stairs for emergencies and incase the elevators are not working.
Just to Tampa Airport, contact the hotel to get the schedule or time, then you just wait for the shuttle bus at the designated area outside the airport
