Old time- old charm in a secluded tip by a public park. The ocean meets the bay at this point and it is fascinating. Resort staff was very friendly and the resort had everything you need. Can rent bikes or swim in Non heated pool, use sauna and hot tub enclosed in room next to small fitness room. Small laundry,... More

I had a great view of the beach from my balcony ... at little more private than most from room #302. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly & I felt very comfortable here. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely return again😎 Very reasonable rentals of beach umbrellas for the week $10. I also rented a... More

This resort is quite charming. It's got a quaint retro vibe. The rooms were very clean and the place was well stocked. Wendy at the front desk is a fountain of useful and interesting information. The resort is right next to the state park, quick easy access for swimming, walking and kayaking. Uber was quick and convenient to use.

We love going to sarasota sands. All our children go and we get together and have a wonderful time with the grandchildrens. Place is wonderful like always, every year they improve the units, and I wish we can stay for more than two weeks. It's not enough time. The staff is excellent, love them all. People says is dated, what... More

Although the property itself is a bit dated, my room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room had an ocean view (and because of the layout of the property buildings, I would guess this was true of many rooms), and I was just steps away from pristine Lido beach. The water was warm and... More

This was our first time to Sarasota Sands and we were very pleased. We flew in to the Sarasota airport and the resort I is about 10 miles away. A very short and easy drive. It was only my husband and me, so we stayed in a one bedroom one bath unit that was steps from the beautiful beach. The... More

Location was position A, the beach was one of the best we have ever been and we have been to many all over the world. If you are not planning on spending much time in the room then its fine. don't expect modern decor. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean.

My wifes family has been going for almost 30 years and has many wonderful memories. Now we go each year in June. This is a very family friendly resort that is adjacent to beautiful South Lido Park. We catch all sorts of fish at night while fishing on the pass, snook are the best when in season. The beach itself... More

What a nice stay we had this year. The grounds were taken care of and place has a new coat of paint. You can not get closer to the beach. The studio was a bit cramped but, overall we were pleased. Staff was outstanding, helpful and wanted to make our stay enjoyable. Family had a wonderful time, and we will... More

Located at the end of Lido Key and right on the gulf, it offers easy access to many different ways to enjoy a stay. We own a time share and come down about the same time every year. We enjoy the well kept property from the suite that we stay in, to the pool, sauna and area for guests to... More
