We have had many stays at the Gulf Beach Resort Motel over the years, and have stayed in several different units. They are all different, so lots to choose from, as long as you book in advance during busy times. We enjoy the kitchen features that many of the units have, as it means having to leave less times during...

This is a marvelous place to stay if you're the least bit nostalgic. I felt as if I had stepped back to the 50's when I arrived. My cottage was vintage but very comfortable. A nice screened porch for sitting for morning tea or coffee and listening to the waves wash onto the shore. The beach is literally just steps...

We chose this old but quaint motel for a one night stay to attend a reunion at a nearby hotel that charged twice as much. The rooms are small but clean; beds and pillows are comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again as its also right on the water, neat and tidy.

Yet again we are so very pleased with our stay. The staff considers us family and we consider them family. The accommodations are lovely. The ambiance perfect. This year the new guy on the block was this beautiful wood stork who ate pretty much anything you fed it. From salami to bread. He was a joy to be around. 😄....

We have vacationed in the St. Petersburg-Clearwater area of Florida for several years. We decided to try this location in Sarasota this year. We always like to stay in an upstairs room facing the gulf and enjoy sitting on a deck. Room 319 looked to fit the bill however, when we checked in we found that it does not have...

We were going to a Christmas party and planning on drinking so we wanted to spend the night close to St. Armands Circle. I picked the motel due to it's price and walking distance to our restaurant that evening.. We were about .8 miles from St. Armands Circle not to far but, far enough that my wife had to take...

I almost didn't write this review as I really don't want people to know how great this place is...but it's too good to miss out on. Firstly let me say, if you are a 5 star hotel only person, this is not the place for you. No fancy entrance, no elevators, no restaurant. I gave it 5 stars because it...

We stayed in room 315. The room provided an excellent view and close proximity to the beach. Things you should bring (we bought these items at Walmart): beach towels, coffee, bottled water and jug (water was nasty). Also, I would go here again, but I would wash all bedding first, sheets, comforters, etc. I got a rash and bites from...

We stayed in the second story unit overlooking the ocean. The views were amazing, due to windows on all sides in the living area. We enjoyed a drink at sunset with the doors open and complete privacy - something we will never forget. The place itself is tastefully decorated and has everything you might need including air con, fridge, hob, coffee...
