From the time we checked in up until our reservation was cut short we encountered problems. The first room we were sent to looked ransacked, it had started to be cleaned but never finished. Our next room was very outdated and had a distinct odor....More
Lovely small-scale hotel in super location for Siesta Beach & also for restaurants & bars with a definite Florida flavour to it, you could feel a spanish influence with the shuttered windows & lovely garden & plantings. Room was clean & all worked well, including...More
I really do try to be positive about any review so I'll start with location. This hotel has great local access to the public beach. The other thing is the bed. Very comfortable and very clean. We know because we ripped the sheets off after...More

I live in Sarasota for 30 years and have to say that if you are going for a great hotel experience then don't bother. If you are coming to experience life on Siesta Key then you won't find a better place for the money. You're truly steps away from the beach and Siesta Key Village. You could literally walk everywhere you need to go. Your stay at the hotel should not take away from the Siesta Key experience if you are truly coming to experience Siesta Key. Hope this helps!
