Loved it! My wife is quite inexperienced, I’m moderate and we both had a great time canoeing down this 7 mile run. The rapids section lasted just 2 Seconds if that. Will definitely return. For me it’s the best run to increase your canoe skills.

Just a couple days ago my boyfriend and I went camping at Juniper Springs. I must admit that I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the campgrounds. The bathrooms were cleaned regularly multiple times a day. Plus the camp site itself was spotless of...More

It was a lots of fun. We saw a couple of otters, a deer and of course turtles. We didn't see any gators. There is a few place you have to duck under trees when canoeing. Make sure you bring towels so you can go...More

I haven't been there in a couple months. But if you call they can will let you know if it's all clear and safe to go canoeing.

The campground has designated camping areas, many of the sites are wooded and they all have bear boxes. I didn't look closely to see if trees would accommodate a hammock, but they looked substantial.
