Great hotel and location in the heart of Stuart. Stayed on our final night of a 2 week road trip and certainly helped ended our holiday on a high. Friendly welcome and a clean room with everything we needed. Booked directly with the owner Steven the day before we arrived and was able to check in at 1.30pm. The Old Colorado Inn is very quirky with so much character and would definitely recommend this little gem to anyone who wants a hotel with a difference. Will definitely be returning on our next stay in Florida.

What a wonderful hotel in the heart of downtown Stuart. Our room was spotless and staff and owner were kind and friendly! Everything was within walking distance, shoppes and restaurants. My husband joked his dream was to have a Duffy’s across the street! Lol

Nice little hidden gem Stuart. Right a long the boardwalk which had some of the best views. Not often I go to Stuart being from South Florida but decided to take a spontaneous trip and had a nice stay even if I didn’t get out to see the city as much as I’d have liked to. Would definitely go back.

The Old Colorado Inn is beautiful, clean and close to everything. This place has a lot of history, if only the walls could talk. Our suite was amazing, decor was beautiful and probably the cleanest suite we’ve ever stayed in, bravo! We walked to restaurants, shopping, the riverfront and more. Live music at a lot of the local restaurants. Would recommend staying at this hidden gem.

Great hotel! Hubby and I stopped here for a night on our drive from NJ to Key West through a recommendation of our realtor. Great old school hotel! We were greeted like we were old friends. This hotel is right in the middle of all the great restaurants and shops in the heart of downtown Stuart. The river walk is literally a block away. It was exceptionally clean. We loved it so much that we stayed a night on our way back.

We stayed at this hotel last minute due to a family emergency and without a reservation - so that was lucky. The hotel is lovely with large rooms nicely decorated and friendly staff. The location cannot be beat in the small town of Stuart. You are walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops and there is parking right there. We had a fridge, microwave and stove and plenty of utensils and cookware to make a meal but we decided to go out to eat instead and had a great meal at The Gafford which I will write a separate review for.

The Accommodation: We stayed in the Evinrude Suite which is the ground floor of an entire house! It is exactly as it is portrayed in the images on the Old Colorado Inn Website. The house is eclectically furnished in the spirit of old Florida. Central air-conditioning. Two bedrooms, Two full bathrooms, spacious living room, inviting parlor/siting room, kitchenette, traditional southern front porch, spacious back porch with top self furnishings, cable TV's, each space is wonderful and inviting. Just beautiful. You have direct access from your furnished back porch to the pool, pool patio and jacuzzi. Parking is right out front in your private drive way. Owner: Steven, the owner/manager was there to greet us when we arrived. His attention to every detail is clearly evident in the condition and care of the property. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Location: The location could not have been better. You are steps from Riverwalk and all the restaurants on the water. The Evinrude House front porch is 50 yards from the Saint Lucie River. You can sit on the porch and watch the boats go by. Feel free to verify with Google Maps. You will see what I mean. You are two blocks away from all the shops in town, taverns, candy shops, gelato shops, and a quiet breakfast. Beach: You are 8 minutes away from the beach if you drive like a New Yorker. It's 10 minutes if you drive like a Floridian. We went to Stuart Beach on Hutchinson Island. There are showers, restrooms, picnic area and dining facilities right on the beach. Very nice. Trust me, I'm a fickle traveler. Everything has to be: "just right." The entire experience exceeded my expectations. We will return, without a doubt. …

I highly recommend The Old Colorado Inn! It is located in a great location in Stuart, easy to get to, surrounded by many excellent restaurants, close to the water and in walking distance of everything downtown. They provide reserved parking for guests so you can park your car and forget it, walk everywhere. There is a Tiki Bar attached for food and a night cap. When you arrive Steven and Ashley make you feel so welcome, I felt like family. Everything they do makes you feel so special, they are professional, accommodating and provide local information on food, attractions, where to go and what to do. The inn is meticulously cleaned and the kitchens are ready to go, our room had a full kitchen with a stove and oven, bathrooms stocked as well. I love that you get old fashioned brass room keys.,The beds are super comfortable and cord boxes on the night stand with USB jacks for your electronics, WiFi was strong and fast as well. Simply amazing!! We were referred here by our daughter who knew we would love it. From the moment we entered to checkout we felt at home. Incredible hospitality, personal attention, we loved everything about this place. Each room is unique and beautiful with its own personality. Impeccably cleaned, beds were crazy comfy with the most amazing sheets. So much that I inquired into where they got them. Located in the heart of historic downtown Stuart with a short walk to shoppes and Al fresco cafes. Morning walks along the Riverwalk boardwalk were a great way to start your day after a relaxing cup of coffee on the porch of our unit overlooking the morning activities in the area. Super friendly staff and very accommodating owners make this a must return for us. Cannot recommend this place enough. Planning a girls weekend in April in hopes of staying here. If you're looking for a quaint, quiet, relaxing place to visit with tons of nearby activities, beautiful beaches and friendly people this is your place! Cannot wait to return❤️…

At the Old Colorado Inn you are a part of the excitement of downtown Stuart, Florida. We had a suite on the second floor -room 8-which was a premier location. A small full kitchen was a surprise along with a comfy living room and a very comfortable king bed. We enjoyed the porch that ran along the front of the building. Despite staying on New Year’s Eve, the room was very quiet with no noise from the adjacent bars. Another bonus was the proximity to the river walk which is only a short walk from the Inn a definite must see for anyone visiting Stuart. The local tram stop is across the street at Duffy’s, and sandy beaches are less than a 15 minute drive away.
