My husband and I called the Old Colorado Inn when our vacation plans to go to St. Pete Beach needed to change very unexpectedly due to a family member's illness. Suddenly we were on our way to Stuart. I am so very grateful that we were able to find the Old Colorado Inn. Steven Vitale, the owner and innkeeper, could...

My wife and I spent 3 weeks at the Old Colorado Inn. It was our 3rd visit there. Steve, the owner, his wife and children, and Rosie are some of the best people you will meet. A nice little breakfast on your door each morning, a newspaper, brownies on arrival are just pleasant additions to an already great experience. The...

The Old Colorado Inn is a real gem located in an ideal location! Spacious updated rooms in a historically pretty inn await the traveler. We had two teens, my husband and I traveling and staying 2 nights. We were so comfortable sleeping on new mattresses and enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen. The paper and tasty breakfast were waiting outside our...

This is a great spot that is charming and located right downtown. The room was cute & cozy and a light breakfast was delivered to our door each morning. The owner Steve is friendly and receptive to comments and suggestions. The town has a great riverwalk that is just outside the hotel's doors and on weekends there is a farmer's...

This hotel is right in the middle of the quaint cute town of Stuart. Two blocks from the river, not even one block from shopping and dining. You don't need to move your car if you stay here. We had a larger room/suite and it was great for us with two small children that needed naps. It was VERY clean...

We recently stayed for two nights in the key West suite. It is located behind the main hotel. This cottage style room is adorable and very nicely decorated. Two big beds, a kitchen with a sit up bar, and a small eating area. The bathroom was really nice and had the softest towels ever! The owner Steven, is super nice...

The Old Colorado Inn is a lovely Historical "Inn" centered in the heart of Downtown Stuart Florida ... walking distance to the intercostal waterway, green market, theatre, wonderful restaurants, and more! The Inn Keeper and owner, Steve greeted us upon arrival. He gave a tour of the Inn, property, and showed us to our room. Our room overlooked the downtown...

The rooms are very clean, eclectic and quite beautiful. The stay was perfect. I was on a short business trip and Steve was always available and accommodating. The view from the balcony was sweet. I would recommend and defiantly stay again. Next time, hopefully on a please trip.

Was able to book the cottage, which is dog friendly! This setting, overlooking the St. Lucie River, is super relaxing. Steve and lovely wife made stay great, a block walk from "downtown" and the little boardwalk Stuart has created. Highly suggest for those who appreciate a legit historical hotel redone to perfection. Can't wait to return.!!

Stayed for a long weekend in the sailfish suite, wonderful room, very clean and you will not find a more accommodating owner. Steven goes above and beyond to make sure your stay in Stuart is a memorable one. Location is awesome, convenient to town and boardwalk, local restaurants steps away.
