Such a wonderful small hotel with a delightful balcony / deck on the second floor. One can usually tell the quality of ownership by the attitude of the staff; 5 stars for both. The large room feel so cozy. The continental breakfast, preordered on arrival, hanging on door knob was perfect. Being right in the center of Old Stuart, the...

The Inn is perfectly situated to walk downtown Stuart and to use as a base for exploring the area. The building is older, so bathroom was tiny, but sufficient. Everything was clean and comfortable, although the bed was soft for my husband's liking. Bagels and muffins, along with juice, coffee, etc. are delivered each morning, which is a nice touch....

Couldn't have had a lovelier stay. Steve was so gracious, sharing the history of the house, local recommendations for food, things to do. The suite was clean, large, well appointed and had nice linens and bedding. Breakfast was included and delivered to our door with a newspaper each morning. The location is quiet but still in the heart of the...

LOVE this Inn! I live in the northeast and have an elderly godmother who lives in Stuart, FL. I make it a point of visiting her every year. Over the years, I've stayed in many nice places in the Stuart/Hutchinson Island areas but the Old Colorado Inn takes the grand prize. Their rooms are comfortable, spacious, lovely - Steve, the...

My husband and I called the Old Colorado Inn when our vacation plans to go to St. Pete Beach needed to change very unexpectedly due to a family member's illness. Suddenly we were on our way to Stuart. I am so very grateful that we were able to find the Old Colorado Inn. Steven Vitale, the owner and innkeeper, could...

My wife and I spent 3 weeks at the Old Colorado Inn. It was our 3rd visit there. Steve, the owner, his wife and children, and Rosie are some of the best people you will meet. A nice little breakfast on your door each morning, a newspaper, brownies on arrival are just pleasant additions to an already great experience. The...

The Old Colorado Inn is a real gem located in an ideal location! Spacious updated rooms in a historically pretty inn await the traveler. We had two teens, my husband and I traveling and staying 2 nights. We were so comfortable sleeping on new mattresses and enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen. The paper and tasty breakfast were waiting outside our...

This is a great spot that is charming and located right downtown. The room was cute & cozy and a light breakfast was delivered to our door each morning. The owner Steve is friendly and receptive to comments and suggestions. The town has a great riverwalk that is just outside the hotel's doors and on weekends there is a farmer's...

This hotel is right in the middle of the quaint cute town of Stuart. Two blocks from the river, not even one block from shopping and dining. You don't need to move your car if you stay here. We had a larger room/suite and it was great for us with two small children that needed naps. It was VERY clean...

We recently stayed for two nights in the key West suite. It is located behind the main hotel. This cottage style room is adorable and very nicely decorated. Two big beds, a kitchen with a sit up bar, and a small eating area. The bathroom was really nice and had the softest towels ever! The owner Steven, is super nice...
