Neat little place right downtown ! I am so happy I stayed here rather then the Doubletree right next door which looked like an unfinished attempt to convert it into a ultra fancy Boutique hotel. Governors in does not pretend but the rooms are well equipped and furnished with antique furnishings and everything works including WIFI . Although the said...

I have stayed at Governors Inn many times in Tallahassee. This last time was for the UM-FSU game, where the prices were jacked up to twice the normal amount. When we arrived, we couldn't park in front of the hotel due to the "Downtown Getdown" taking place right across the street. The valet (free) was set up a few doors...

We booked this hotel for our 34th anniversary. I thought it would be romantic for an anniversary and we could enjoy the sights and eateries of downtown Tallahassee. We had stayed at this hotel before, however, it had probably been about 15 years prior. We had a loft suite ( room 216), that had an air conditioner blowing right on...

I stayed at the Governor's Inn for my nieces college graduation and couldn't have been happier! It is a hidden jewel - near the center of Tallahassee convenient to government offices and FSU graduation venue. It's quiet, elegant and has great service. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Tallahassee!

Very friendly staff and good location for football games. close to shuttles to Doak Campbell stadium. Very quaint hotel, but avoid room 205, as the air conditioner buzzes very loudly for several seconds EVERY time it comes on. Asked the desk to have it fixed, it appears they checked it while we were out, did nothing and did not offer...

Stayed one night, Aug 8-9th 2015, which happened to be the same weekend of summer graduation at FSU and I still got a really great rate on the room! The atmosphere of the hotel is very charming. We stayed in a Governor's room with a queen bed. The furniture is older and there's not a lot of extra space to...

The location was amazing close to some great restaurants and downtown. Rooms were very cute and large. Staff at the front desk and valet were all super friendly. However the housekeeping could use some pointers; just on the details. As a super clean freak I notice the little things. Around the faucets in both the sink and the shower had...

Location Location. 2 Blocks from Capitols , old and new. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Clean, safe with great restaurants across the street. This is a kittle gem of a place right in downtown and only a few blocks from the FSU Campus. Very safe and quiet. Staff is top notch and extremely helpful

I loved the old feel of this inn. The room with mezzanine was perfect for our son and us, although you had to go up and down to get into the small bathroom, we had a good stay and the bed which was high was comfortable. Breakfast was very limited but I enjoyed the infused water during the day. The...

We stayed here for one night so that we didn't have to drive all the way from Savannah to New Orleans in one day. The inn looks posh, so does the furniture in the rooms, but it is not that posh at all. A couple of things bothered me. The balcony of our room had no privacy at all; our...
