Owner Barbara is very personable. Ask her about her roots in Kentucky. Breakfasts are delicious. Very quiet and very clean. Room upstairs and one down. “Cottage” in the yard. Barbara lives in similar abode in the yard as well. Convenient location. Sponge docks are within walking distance or short drive. Excellent B&B!!!
Wonderful time. Our Host Barbara, simply amazing.Breakfast,a treat for your pallet. This restored home just relaxes you the moment we walked in.The location is in walking distance from the historical district.A short drive to the sponge docks and beaches. We are both retired, but active, so the walking tour of the area was wonderful.Parking is a breeze ,it's right at the patio enterence. And quiet. We will be back
Barbara has made this B & B such a special and pleasant place to stay. It is off the beaten path but still close to Tarpon Springs shopping, restaurants and excursion opportunities. Barbara makes you feel right at home. My husband and I stayed in The Cottage. It was wonderful and was a miniature “home away from home”. The home-cooked breakfast that she served was delicious.
Charming B&B decorated with an eclectic mix of Victorian antiques in a historical home of the same vintage. I stayed on the second floor so you better like stairs! but it had several spacious rooms with modern bathroom, television and Internet. Breakfast was pretty big and prepared and served by our very gracious hostess Barbara, who is the owner and lives on the property though not in the same house. The location is midpoint Tarpon Springs so you can walk to the docks one way or walk the other way for nightlife and upscale shops; and if you don’t know about it Barbara does… There is bicycling and kayaking close by amongst many other choices of adventure and entertainment on this west coast of Florida on the Gulf of Mexico Thanks Barbara for your hospitality!
I absolutely love this lovely B&B. Barbara is one of the most gracious hostesses you could ever meet. Always clean, quiet, delicious food and so very convenient for a trip to the area. The private cabin is an excellent choice for anyone wanting a quiet getaway.
Wonderful Victorian classic. Very comfortable, clean, and awesome breakfast. Barbara does it right. And she’s great at local recommendations. The b&b is walking distance to the town and to the sponge docks. It’s also less than two blocks from the biking trail. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back.
A great find off the busy highway. Charming, quiet and clean B&B. Walking distance to everything in Tarpon Springs. Wonderful breakfasts and charming hostess. If you are looking for an overpriced, sterile, 4 wall box room with a biscuit and powdered egg breakfast, this isn’t your place. My wife said that the 30 coats of paint are probably holding this place together. She is probably right! That is part of its charm!! Will definitely stay again on our next visit.
The breakfasts were awesome and Barbara was such a sweetheart, friendly and personable she had knowledge of the area the house is beautifully decorated with antiques and a front porch swing.Barbara was a great host Kevin Zimmerman & Angie
This place is a good value, comfortable, a bit funky, and very well located in a quaint town. Barbara is a friendly hostess and quite knowledgable. Breakfast is not the highlight of the visit, but is timely and plentiful. One can easily walk everywhere from here.
Wonderful place. Barbara the owner was gracious and full of local knowledge. We stayed in the bungalow and it was great. Clean, fully stocked kitchenette, clean linens and the decor was charming. Quiet neighborhood but close to Old Downtown as well as the Sponge Docks. The homemade breakfast and coffee was served on time and with a smile. What a treat to find this gem.
