Was looking for something close to MT Dora, the location was fabulous. The place was clean, but so dark, the Curtains and bed comforter was dark red and the room had hardly and lights. The desk had NO LAMP ON IT, and NO PLUGS to use your devices just crazy !!! NO pool NO Breakfast so I thought price was a bit expensive for what you get. The Area was very convenient to see Tavares and MT Dora, these towns are awesome. Great restaurant's within a 1/2 a mile. Stayed here but didn't spend much time in room ,so it was ok .

My husband did a bike ride in Mt Dora. We stayed here the night prior because it was located close by, only 10 minutes away and the rate was very affordable. Had a wonderful experience and a shout out to Nita who went above and beyond to accommodate us. The entire staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Our king room was super clean, spacious with a microwave and refrigerator. I would definitely recommend!

We traveled to Tavares to ride the rails to ales train for my sons 21st birthday. He brought a friend so we rented 2 rooms. The owner was very nice and was able put us in rooms next to each other. She was also very accommodating and allowed us to check in early as we had a train to catch and wasn't able to come back until late that night. Both rooms were very clean and spacious. They offer coffe and packaged pastries that tied us over until we could check out and get on the road. We had a very nice stay. The only complaint would be the traffic noise on the busy road the hotel is on.

When the Antique Extravaganza is being held in Mount Dora it is very very difficult to find a last-minute room. The La Bella Inn was a pleasant surprise. It is definitely no-frills but it is also inexpensive. It was squeaky clean and I felt very safe. It was also quiet. Yes breakfast is pretty basic but there are a ton of restaurants and fast food nearby. The family that owns it obviously works very hard. In a nutshell it is a bargain. As other reviewers have mentioned bring your own hairdryer and you may want to throw in an extra towel if you are driving. The fluorescent lights are a little obnoxious. But the basics are covered and we even had a refrigerator and microwave in the room.

This hotel is only 4 miles from The Big House sports complex, so it's a great place to stay for parents kids in travel sports. The room was great. Everything worked and was clean and new. I was told they renovated all the rooms within the last year and it's all very nice. There was no room in the inn - it was fully booked yet there was no noise from people in the other rooms. And...it's been a long time since I stayed at a hotel where the actual owners were in the lobby. That was the case with this hotel. Husband and wife duo and a toddler. I needed something late at night, and they came out in their pjs to give me the extra towels. It was really great to be staying somewhere owned and operated by just a regular family making a living. The price was good, also. I highly recommend.

This is a no frills motel. No fridge, hair dryer or coffee maker in the room, which did not matter to me. The "simple" free breakfast consisted of coffee and packaged pastries. Plenty of places around it to have real breakfast. The room was recently renovated - nice tile floors instead of grungy carpet and new, functional furniture. More importantly, it was very clean. Comfy bed and pillows. A few simple things lacking is a soap dish in the bathtub, a hook on the bathroom door and at least a small bar on the shower wall to hang your washcloth. I have to come back to the area and will be staying here - very reasonable price.

After reading the reviews, I was quite hesitant to say the least to stay here. This weekend the majority of the hotels were already booked due to the many events going on. The room was very clean - from what the owner said a huge renovation had taken place -. New bed, new flooring, etc.. There were no bugs of any kind in the room. Bathroom was very clean, room smelled nice - we got a non smoking room - Paid 99.00 for the room due to the weekend price. Will stay there again in the future when in the area.

Was shown and reserved at one price $59. Went to check in and was told it was $85 to stay. Then checked my statement as was charged $95. For the price it was not a good hotel. I could have stayed at a better hotel down the street for the price I was charged. A lot better. Would never go there again. Won't even suggest it to anyone.
