Since leaving a review on booking.com I noticed a new unauthorized charge to my credit card made by this motel in the amount of $150. When I called to inquire as to the reason for this charge I was told we ruined their counter by using the dish strainer they provided to strain dishes they provided. Then she brought up the review I left here. Obviously this was not about straining dishes on a counter by the sink. (which is where most people strain their dishes). They have lots of signage regarding things you will be charged for if you cause damage like towels being used for makeup, but nowhere is it mentioned that you should not strain dishes in a strainer they provided on the at counter attached to the sink, Nor did they ever mention to us we should not strain dishes in the strainer. This motel is obviously run by thieves trying to use any excuse they can to steal from unsuspecting customers. Not a professional way to treat customers, even those who leave opinions about your facilities. I significantly reduced my rating due the theft being attempted. IF YOU LIKE BEING STOLEN FROM this place is perfect!

Staff in office was very couteous & friendly. Our room was VERY clean (#20)...tile floor (NO CARPET!), updated bathroom & freshly painted. Small kitchen sink, coffee maker (only coffee packets provided...no sugar/creamers or tea), fridge & microwave. Very comfy bed and quiet A/C unit! Only CON: walls need a bit of soundproofing...you can hear people in the next room! Short walk to great beach. Pool is clean & heated and has plenty of lounge chairs...patio area has several tables with umbrellas & chairs. Gas grill for guest use. Limited 1 car parking. Our room was near a small coutyard (smoking area?) but we were only there to spend the night so it really didn't bother us. We will be back...maybe in the fall.

This is a small basic motel that is clean, quiet and reasonably priced for being directly on the water. While many rooms do not have direct water view, the water is just over the dune and no need to cross the busy four lanes of traffic. The beach is beautiful. Their pool is clean although a little too warm for my taste. No chairs or towels are provided. Parking for one car. Washing machine and dryer available. Lots of seating and lounges by the pool. There is also a grill you can use. The 2 bedroom apartment is great if travelling with a friend as the bedroom is separate from the living room and kitchenette, closed off with a door for privacy and quiet. I recommend room # 18 on the second floor and at the very end with slight views of the ocean from a window and easy access to stairs. Room # 17 also in a good spot. There is a canopy walkway so one can sit out even in rain. The bathroom is dated but clean. There are limited toiletries provided so plan to bring some of your own personal items. There are some dishes but not enough for a family. There was a TV in the living room and one in the bedroom. Easy walk over the bridge into Johns Pass and lots of restaurants and shops. A Publix grocery store is not too far down the road as well. I would certainly consider staying here again.

My husband I stayed there for 6 nights in mid February 2021 and enjoyed our stay. The location was great - separated from the beach only by the pool and a short sand dune. The motel is older but well maintained. Very nice couple that owns the place were on site at all times. The negatives I would mention would be that the doors deadbolt wouldn't work and the additional slide lock that had been added also didn't work. However, the door knob lock did work. The property was well lighted so i felt relatively safe but would have felt safer if all of the locks worked. The worst problem was the floors. The carpet was old and very dirty in our unit. After walking barefoot initially, we found our feet were black on the bottoms. We had to wear our socks the entire time after that and ruined all of our white socks as the stains would not come out. The price was a little expensive considering the floor condition, no breakfast provided and the age of the facility.

We only live 90 minutes away from Treasure Island do try take in a day or two down there whenever we get chance. We stayed here on two separate occasions this month. Service is friendly and efficient. Rooms are spotlessly clean and ours was very spacious. Ideal location for beach and easy walk over drawbridge to John's Pass Village. This is our " go - to" motel and is highly recommended!
