Detailed Reviews
This is a small basic motel that is clean, quiet and reasonably priced for being directly on the water. While many rooms do not have direct water view, the water is just over the dune and no need to cross the busy four lanes of traffic. The beach is beautiful. Their pool is clean although a little too warm for my taste. No chairs or towels are provided. Parking for one car. Washing machine and dryer available. Lots of seating and lounges by the pool. There is also a grill you can use. The 2 bedroom apartment is great if travelling with a friend as the bedroom is separate from the living room and kitchenette, closed off with a door for privacy and quiet. I recommend room # 18 on the second floor and at the very end with slight views of the ocean from a window and easy access to stairs. Room # 17 also in a good spot. There is a canopy walkway so one can sit out even in rain. The bathroom is dated but clean. There are limited toiletries provided so plan to bring some of your own personal items. There are some dishes but not enough for a family. There was a TV in the living room and one in the bedroom. Easy walk over the bridge into Johns Pass and lots of restaurants and shops. A Publix grocery store is not too far down the road as well. I would certainly consider staying here again.

My husband I stayed there for 6 nights in mid February 2021 and enjoyed our stay. The location was great - separated from the beach only by the pool and a short sand dune. The motel is older but well maintained. Very nice couple that owns the place were on site at all times. The negatives I would mention would be that the doors deadbolt wouldn't work and the additional slide lock that had been added also didn't work. However, the door knob lock did work. The property was well lighted so i felt relatively safe but would have felt safer if all of the locks worked. The worst problem was the floors. The carpet was old and very dirty in our unit. After walking barefoot initially, we found our feet were black on the bottoms. We had to wear our socks the entire time after that and ruined all of our white socks as the stains would not come out. The price was a little expensive considering the floor condition, no breakfast provided and the age of the facility.

Stayed here for 10 nights. Ideal for Johns Pass Boardwald area, as it's adjacent to Bridge. Clean and comfortable with excellent, friendly staff. The views over the Gulf at sunset are to die for. Pool area is well maintained and sits between motel and Treasure Island beach. Plenty of bird life in the area. The actual Boardwald is a 5 minute walk over the bridge, with all its highlights.

Tried booking a room for me and a friend for a girls short weekend getaway. To ask for prices or availability you have to fill out a form online. I did that and received a response within an hour. Was told they had 1 room and the price. Nothing other than that...no asking if I would like to reserve and no specifics on how to reserve a room. So I answered back a few hours later asked another question about how to book a room. Did not hear back from them but thought ok maybe they are not there to answer. Waited until the next morning and still no reply back. Tried calling the number on the website but it would ring and ring then sounds like someone picks up and hangs it up. So I again filled out the online form explaining I would like to book the room. Got an answer back that just said "no longer available ". So apparently they either do not care about customer service or they have enough repeat guests that they do not care about having new people.

+1
I love it, it was my 4th or 5th stay there. It's clean the owners are incredibly friendly as well as the staff. It feels private, it's quiet and a great location. They've got a beautiful heated pool and just beyond that is the beach. They have two sheds one has a washer dryer in it and the other one has everything you could need for the beach. Chairs, umbrellas, toys.... Plus, it's within walking distance to the boardwalk which has plenty of restaurants and interesting shopping and you can rent boat rides and jet skis. I had a deluxe Queen room, plenty of room, adequate storage and I didn't feel like I was in a cramped small room, I felt very safe. I was going to book a place for next year while I was there, that's how much I am looking forward to the next time I get the chance to stay in Madeira Beach.

Just finished a week long stay at the motel. As always, it's clean, comfortable, and the owners are wonderful people. They are out cleaning, checking the property, talking with the guests at any moment of the day. This is our 5th stay, and we will be back, definitely in Oct.

Cannot praise this place enough! Yes, it's an older motel and doesn't serve food, BUT it's extremely clean, friendly, and a 350ft. from the beach. It's quiet and a 5 minute walk from all the shops at St. Johns Pass. Only downside was the pool closes at sunset but that helps elimate loud parties after dark.

We only live 90 minutes away from Treasure Island do try take in a day or two down there whenever we get chance. We stayed here on two separate occasions this month.
Service is friendly and efficient. Rooms are spotlessly clean and ours was very spacious.
Ideal location for beach and easy walk over drawbridge to John's Pass Village.
This is our " go - to" motel and is highly recommended!

My family has stayed at this hotel on their last couple of visits to Florida because of the convienent location. On every visit we have had a problem with the owner. He is extremely rude and unpleasant. My husband's family stayed there on their last visit and ended up finding a different hotel after a few nights because they were treated so badly. The same thing just happened to my parents this week. They had decided to give the place another try after a bad expirience last year. They, too, left and found another place to stay after only 2 nights. The cleanliness has gone downhill, too. Don't bother booking a room here, your trip will be ruined if you do. Saty a couple of blocks down the beach at the Trails End. Same price, also on the beach, kitchens in the room, with owners who appreciate your business.

The owners/managers are extremely rude. They charged guests from $5 for sheets for the pull out bed to $15 per person for friends to visit and swim in the pool. There was nothing friendly about staying at this motel. The gounds and pool area are in poor condition. On two occasions our room was never cleaned. If you are looking for a friendly, relaxing vacation this is NOT THE MOTEL for you!!!

The red tide is over.
yes there are. you can hire chairs and loungers but not close to the hotel you have to walk on the beach.
I saw people using a grill in front of a few units that overlook the pool. Not sure if it belonged to the motel or the individuals.
We checked in at 3 pm and the room was ready. I believe you can check in at anytime but you can get into the room when it is ready. If you are checking in after 5 they will set up a check in process.
No hot tub. But a large pool and many loungers. Also a large patio next to pool with patio tables and chairs. Super nice for watching the sun sets
