Firstly the hotel staff were nice, location is great, pool is nice enough but that's it.
Our room was disgustingly filthy. Every surface felt sticky and grubby. We didn't use the kitchen because it was so unsanitary. There were five of us staying in a...More
Thought this motel would be great, in the 1940s design and on the beach, but unfortunately the pictures show a different look to the real thing. We paid over the odds to a modern motel in Orlando and the cleanliness of the appliance ,the Windows,...More
We had the best time! older place and old rooms but very clean. Family friendly and great staff. The rooms face either the courtyard, pool, or beach.....can't go wrong. Parking is not good, few spots in front of motel but they do have a parking...More

Shell Island Preserve Park (about 20min away) has them and I believe the one time I've ever done that it was $45/day. TS is correct, it's a hefty/long walk from almost any hotel to the actual water.
Sunburst Inn in Indian Rocks Beach, right up the road, has umbrellas and lounge chairs you can use, on the beach, no extra charge for them. If they're booked solid you'll have to do an "early bird gets the worm" kind of thing but we've stayed there too.
