Exceptional staff, clean and well maintained facility. Beautiful well thought out rooms with awesome views. Very comfortable laid back setting. Walking distance to great food although the best restaurant is in house. It’s all right here…we’ll be back!
The resort is clean and neat as a pin. The view is unbeatable. The service…top notch! From the prompt replies to any service requests to the friendly and kind housekeeping and maintenance staff…you just can’t find customer service with a smile anywhere these days like we found at the Opal. The food at the restaurant in-house is very good-try the Nooner burger. The little tiki hut that serves drinks and quick eats in between the pool and the beach is perfect for watching the sun set over the gulf. There is also a sandy area complete with chair swings, fire pits and cornhole that is perfect for lounging. We also brought our pup who was as pampered as we were. We will definitely be back!
We ❤️ Treasure Island Beach Resort! This is our 6th time visiting the property and we had another AMAZING vacation. The staff is awesome, property is gorgeous and rooms are very nice! We can’t wait to come back and visit again.
We are very happy with our choice here to celebrate our engagement! We were greeted with the warmest welcome and better than expected room. The pictures don’t do this place justice. The beach is literally right there. Turbo was the man at the beach where you could rent chairs and Cabana for a few hours for $20 or like we did sun up to 5pm for $40. We had Ocean and beach views from the resort even from the pool area and sand bar serving drinks and food. They also have a hot tub. The in house restaurant provided room service and staff was always great. Bottom line, if you are looking for a relaxing getaway this was it for us. Short Ubers to Johns Pass to the north or St Pete’s Beach/restaurants area to the south if you got sun burnt like us and couldn’t hang at the beach all week like anticipated. Little ice cream shops, Publix, and convenient stores across the street are convenient too when the rooms provide fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, etc.We both work in service industry and know the work it takes for excellence so it was nice to get what we paid for and more and be treated so well by this Resort and staff. We would come back if in this area again no question.…
This is a very nice, stylish condo hotel, which we enjoyed very much. We had a one-bedroom and found it spacious and well-appointed. The beds were comfortable (the sofa wasn't as comfortable), and the bed linens were good quality. The kitchen was very clean and sufficiently stocked with essential items like pots, cutlery, and glasses. The fridge was full-sized and spotless. Although we didn't cook, we brought in snacks and loved the excellent coffee machine. The suite was clean (I'm very picky about cleanliness), although the furniture is starting to show a tiny bit of wear with one small stain on our sofa and a bit of dust in the room corners or under the furniture. Overall, however, I give the hotel high marks for cleanliness. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed daily breakfast in the restaurant (the french toast is amazing) and one evening dinner. We also had dinner one night at the beachside hut. I'd like to see a bigger, more diverse menu in the restaurant, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only sour note, if we'd call it that, was that the fire alarm went off at 2 a.m. one night. Guests had to evacuate for about 30-40 minutes awaiting the all-clear from the fire department. (There was no fire.) Not a single hotel employee was in sight. We were surprised that no one came out to keep guests informed of what was happening. Eventually, it took a guest asking the fire department if we could return inside. The next morning, we thought we'd see a manager's letter in our room regarding the previous night's disturbance, but there was nothing. Other guests told us they too hadn't received anything, nor had they seen any employees during the evacuation. We'd return to this hotel having enjoyed our stay here. …
Between my employment travel and leisure travel, I have probably stayed at in excess of 500 different hotels and resorts. This resort is very nice, the rooms (suites) are nicely equipped, the grounds and pool area are very clean and maintained, but what makes this resort the nicest I have ever stayed in is the people. All the way from the mgr, Silvio, to the front desk (Jennifer in particular) to the custodian to the support staff ( Mike and Edwin), the compassion and empathy expressed was remarkable. My wife fell and broke her hip the 1st day there ( not on the property) surgery to replace it the next day, back to the resort everyone who knew showed tremendous empathy and assistance. They allowed us the use of a wheel chair while there, offered the use of a dune buggy to get into the sand (though I figured it might still be too bumpy for a new hip. They moved our suite to a pool level suite and right next to the restaurant ( much easier to get around in a wheel chair) . I could go on, but suffice it to say this resort is highly recommended…
We stayed here over the new year. Hotel is located in a great spot on the boardwalk. Beach is steps away. Soft sand and clean water! Had a beautiful corner room and were able to watch the fireworks from our room balcony. Very friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again!
I’ve been to Treasure Island Beach Resort 25 times since it opened and this is the place on this strip of beach. The staff is very friendly always looking to go above and beyond. I love the gym. The food is great!
We loved our stay, I had told them we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, they greeted us with a congrats and an upgrade to a nice room, with ‘heart’ decorations all over the room. They reached out before, during and after our stay, to ensure all was satisfactory. The hotel is very well renovated, also very generous with amenities. The restaurant is excellent too, we ate twice there, don’t miss the Fish Taco and the Hamburgers. Great overall stay, thank you so much to the team, and kudos to your attention to details, it shows !
Resort is in great location. Nearby shops and restaurants to walk too.Lots to do with short drives, nice beaches. The beach at this resort is very wide. Favorite beach was Pass a Grille. Rooms nicely remodeled.
