We had been here many years before and decided to make a spring time trip to the area again to visit the many natural areas and stay at the lodge. But when we were there before my wife was fully ambulatory but in recent years MD has taken that privilege away from her. So now we are very sensitive to...

We were unlucky to have a very bad experience with the front desk staff. We were travelling with a party of 4 and prepaid through a travel agency for the room. Upon arrival in the room we discoverd there were only 3 beds available. 1 double (but you better call it a twin) and 1 single bed. In the walk...

I stayed here one night with my wife to visit this beautiful spring. We enjoyed the lodge immensely especially the 1937's Decour and furnishings. The elevators are wonderfully old and fast. The lodge was going under some construction when we were there and at times was operating off of generator power. The air-conditioning system operates off of the spring and...

The state park is beautiful. The lodge is unique. If you arrive early to check in before 3, they will charge you $50, I thought this was ridiculous. The boat ride was great, very interesting and reasonably priced. There really isn't any A/C, but fans are doing a good job. The restaurant in Lodge was very good. We enjoyed the...

I took my son here because we had planned on going to another spring/water park that turned us away because it was full. We decided to go to Wakulla instead and upon getting there, decided to stay in the lodge hotel. This historic hotel was elegant and charming. The rooms had no TV's but did have wi-fi. The air conditioning...

What a fun, cute, charming different type of lodging!!! I loved how old the building was - including the ancient elevator! The architecture was just amazing. Piano player there was great. The springs are beautiful. The hotel was a little warm but they are working on that. One thing I didn't get - ice cream counter closes at 5!!!!??? That...

Great historic hotel...awesome deep bath tubs :) The weather decided to turn on us during our visit, so we didn't get to enjoy the glass bottle boats or swimming. Beautiful grounds, amazing restaurant! Fair warning to parents with small kids, no tv in room. My kids were very disappointed since it was rainy and no tv. Entertained them with the...

I was booked to stay here for two nights and was looking forward to spending some peaceful time at the Springs in a historic lodge. First, the hotel's air conditioning does not work enough, or at all, to cool the building. It was sweltering and they acknowledged the issue at check in by offering fans for the room, but that...

This historic inn was built in the 1930's and is still a showplace today. Located in a Wakulla Springs State Park, which has the largest freshwater spring in the world. The Lobby is beautiful even with the mish mash furniture. Of note is the ceiling, the fireplace, the elevator and the marble work. There is also a snack bar with...
