We came to Wildwood Florida to see how Holiday Inn is for an extended period of time. This Hotel is a 5-Star Hotel, Shelley the Manager has an excellent staff. The desk staff is very friendly and willing to help, and the cookies are great also. The cleaning crew is Supervised by one of happiest person we ever met and the staff Andrew, Patricia, Jaime, Chris are top notch. The breakfast staff are there every morning with a smile on their face, providing a great breakfast. We are planning on returning next year. This also is the cleanest hotel we have ever been to. I don’t want to miss Dave, the maintenance engineer, keeping the pool and Jacuzzi running and the barbecue with propane. .

This was just a overnight stay and we trust IHG brand hotels. The area seemed a little sketchy and the hotel is backed right up against an RV storage facility which was our view for the night. There is also an adult store across the street. Other than that, the hotel itself was very nice and clean with friendly staff. There is a Dunkin Donuts in the parking lot if you don’t care for the hotel breakfast. The rate was the highest we paid (almost $200 even with government discount) out of the four we stayed at our entire trip, but we were tired and just wanted somewhere to sleep.

The entire team @ Holiday Inn Express & Suites is amazing! let's start Monita, Housekeeping Director, Shelly, General Manager, Jessica, Sales Director, Lexi, Matt, Front office Manager & Kenya, Operations Manager, Cody, Tim, Orlando & Somara, Dave, Maintenance Manager, Breakfast Attendants: Ms Maritza, Ms Steph, & Keith As soon as you walk past the beautiful tropical cascading gardens including a Florida white Poinsettia, and enter the hotel, the doors automatically open and you are greeted by Lexi, Tim, Kenya, Cody, Jay Ashlee, one of the happy front desk clerks with their big smiles and kind faces who greet you with a big HELLO, may I help you? Their enthusiastic spirit is so reassuring... especially after your long harrowing trip complete with road delays, accidents, detours, toll roads, turnpike fees, rest stops, speed pass roads, Interstate roads, road work construction signs of 1,500 feet - 1,000 feet - 500 feet "speeding fines will be doubled when workers are present" and finally a total traffic halt in both directions where one of our Florida clean and clear roads is being repaved/height leveled - all traffic is stopped in both directions by a Florida Department of Public Works sign holder and you realize that you just need to stop - sit and wait. chill until you get the "SLOW" proceed sign and then you can return to your journey so sunny gorgeous glorious Florida - and Finally you make it to your destination, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Wildwood/The Villages, Wildwood Florida and check into your place of rest and that's what you get from Lexi - a sweet voice and big smile as you enter the lobby of the incredibly modern tastefully decorated hotel lobby, classic earth tones sofas, chairs and squares rounds rectangular tables complimented with colorful abstract art to soothe the soul... When we arrive the front desk, staff was wonderful. They gave us some really good advice about places to eat and what to do. They were extremely cordial our entire stay. We didn’t encounter one staff member that wasn’t kind and smiling. The other room was was lovely. It seems like a newer facility the bathroom and all the amenities were excellent.

Ashley went out of her way to get our room ready because we had arrived early and we were tired. She was friendly, attentive and despite being busy with multiple things, she quickly gave us options and let us decide. Our original reserved room was ready in 30 minutes and we were happy.

Very clean and newer hotel!!Front desk friendly! If you want breakfast get there when the doors open!! Get there at 730am a lot of items do not get replenished right away!! We ended going out for breakfast most of the time!!We stayed for 6 nights and only got maid service when we complained to the front desk that we needed clean towels and are trash We did enjoy the cookies in the evening.A lot of contractors and road construction clients stay here. The pool is heated and they have a hot tub!!The pool towels are like hand towels so bring your own.

We came to get our service dog. I was gad to find a place close to where we needed to be that was pet friendly. They were super accommodating. My daughter needed a shower chair and they came up and installed it for us after changing our room so we could use one (needed the bath not the shower stall). RJ was there most of our nights. He was super personable and kind. We seemed to have some sort of request everyday and he answered our questions and requests with a smile on. e enjoyed talking to him. There was another woman there as well and I didn't get her name because she was wonderful as well. The room was clean and had dove products to be used which I did not expect. The breakfast was always great as well. I like that they had snacks and things we may have forgotten to urchas too. Thanks for a great experience…
