Good Value for the Money

Some Red Roofs are better than others, so I kept my expectations low for our stay. This location is on a busy road right off the freeway exit, but our second floor room was nice and quiet. The room was a suite and it was HUGE, with a bedroom, office, and separate sitting area. Clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. My only constructive comment is that the exterior could use some sprucing up, particularly around the pool area. All in all, it was a good value for the money, and I would stay there again.

Clean and comfortable

Clean room and very comfortable bedding. There were three women in our group and the one that slept on the fold out couch said it was really comfortable. Super good central air conditioning. Only things for improvement are water pressure in the shower and musty smell. Windows don't open (for security I imagine) so could not air out. We would stay here again.

Good Enough

Easy to access location just off the interstate. Obviously an older property that has been refurbished. Our check in was quick and easy. The room was very well decorated and much bigger than expected. The thermostat apparently was not operable as we could not get it to adjust properly.

I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

There was a lot of room and most of the space seemed pretty clean. Floors looked new. There were enough basic supplies. The pillows were like rocks. I had to wad up a sweater for my head. The lights over the bed glared into our eyes while laying in bed and there was no alternative bed lamp. The microwave was dirty with something spilled on the turntable. There was a fridge & microwave in the middle room that also had a table & office desk, which felt strange. The body wash dispenser in the shower was empty. The lotion dispenser by the sink was empty. The "fabric" of the chair and sofa in the living room area felt and sounded like plastic. The whole suite had the feeling of being empty... no warmth to it... lots of bare wall. Bar for hanging clothes is on the living room wall. No breakfast.…

Overwhelmingly positive experience.

First the good...the size of the suites here are excellent! The Guest Room has a passable couch and chair as far as comfort level and the kitchen includes a decent sized stainless steel fridge & microwave. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows left a lot to be desired (glad I was driving and had brought one from home) as they were very much on the flat side. Also, how they were presented upon arrival was...different to say the least and there was a thing about stains on the pillowcases. The staff was friendly and quick to fix the one or two issues that popped up. As for the not so good...the Wi-Fi is not good at all. Traveling with multiple devices, as just about everyone does these days, means that hotels should have robust infrastructures to accommodate. Just doing a quick logon with my laptop, I dealt with a ridiculously slow connection until the connection dropped completely. Had to setup the mobile hotspot on my cell phone to finish what I needed to do. All in all, it was a good experience.…

Tremendous Potential

Either an outdoor patio or balcony for each rooms sets this place apart. The rooms are incredibly spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was nice though the landscaping was in disarray. The big negative is the room felt very stale. It’s not that I’m looking for overwhelming ambiance at a Red Roof Inn, but there wasn’t a single lamp on a table or dresser or a single painting on the wall. With a few finishing touches and some mulch and weed spray, this place would be great!!

Frequent stays

This property is clean and quiet. Since I work nights it's essential I have a quiet environment to sleep in during the day. Highly recommend. The front desk is very attentive and the pool is clean as is the property. Will be back again.

Excellent stay, great value

The staff at Red Roof Wildwood FL are absolutely wonderful. We really loved the room. Huge. Great view. Very clean. Comfortable. Hands down one of the best hotels in all of Florida, a favorite of ours nationwide. Very welcoming. They paid attention to every detail. We felt pampered and got to sleep in. I would come here for a romantic vacation. They made us feel like it was our home away from home. Very friendly and kind. No fuss, no hassles. Close to amenities and food. Very impressed. Can't say enough. Very highly recommend.

Large rooms, great rates

Clean, large room for a reasonable rate. Our room had a living room, a separate office, a bathroom, and a bedroom. Each room had an exterior and an interior entrance. The room was only $107 a night. The room was quietly and appeared to be recently remodeled.

Good for an overnight stay.

First, Apple Safari did not give good directions, and the website gave the wrong phone number. This is a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for. We only wanted a room for the night, and it served our purpose well. We had room 202, which is a king suite the size of a small apartment. Everything was clean and the mattress was pretty firm (the way I like it). My son did not like the pull-out couch much. There was no internet (it says “Guest”, but it did not work). There was no office chair or room safe. There is no breakfast, but it’s next door to an IHOP. There is another budget hotel next door and lots of big trucks. Ask for a room on the far side from the IHOP for the quietest experience. There is a small outdoor balcony, and a small outdoor pool. Pet-friendly.
