A nice place to relax with nice views and tasty food. Nice people running the place and not to far off the beaten path. Full service and an enjoyable get away. Stop in for a worry free her away and have a relaxing weekend

This mountain inn is loaded with warmth, charm and thoughtful touches. The rooms are simple and comfortable, and the great room is inviting day and night with a gas fireplace, an extensive library, soothing music and long distance mountain views through expansive windows. There was no TV in our room, the Conquistador, which suited me just fine. Our room had...

I just cannot say enough good things about The Overlook Inn. The stress just melted away the second we arrived. Lynn, the owner was so friendly and helpful from booking all the way to check out. We stayed 2 nights in the Celestial Suite for my husband's 60th birthday and the room is like out of a fairy tale with...

While the room and common area were clean, hospitality was less than cordial since we had a service dog and were banned from having it in common area. The "hiking trail" was dangerous due to how steep it was, and lighting on pathway to our room was so poor that I nearly tripped every time I brought in items from...

We stayed in the Fieldstone room on Dec 17-18. The website says that you can only stay for two nights in a row, but I called ahead and Lynn wonderfully let us stay for just one. From the way the website looks, the Fieldstone is one of the smaller rooms, and it might be seen as a negative that it...

My husband and I have frequented The Overlook Inn on many occasions, our most recent in November 2016. The staff was friendly and hospitable, always making certain we were content. The owner, Lynn, was helpful with navigating the area's venues. We tried one of the newer wineries in Ellijay and had a fine time sampling different wines. The breakfast was...

My husband and I stayed at the Overlook Inn recently. This was our second trip as the first time was on the weekend of our engagement several years ago. Overlook Inn is a beautiful setting. The owners are really nice and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The 3 course breakfast is divine. We were able...

We took our annual trip to mountains to celebrate our anniversary (this year, 47th). We love to B&B "hop" and check out the many different areas and inns. We so enjoyed our time at The Overlook Inn. The accommodations were excellent, food unbelievably good, and the staff was so welcoming. The view from the common room was awesome. Although the...

Each time our stay is wonderful. This time we stayed in the Celestial Suite. Even though we have been married almost 26 years it still felt like a honeymoon. The breathtaking view from the inn, the delicious food, the gracious hosts and the great Apple Festival. All of this make this a must stay destination - any time of year...

My fiancé and I stayed at The Overlook Inn for two nights and eloped there. Lynn, the innkeeper, arranged a lovely ceremony and helped us to find a photographer, stylist, and prepared a delicious wedding night meal. Everything was perfect down to the most minor detail. The inn itself is located in a beautiful area of the North Georgia mountains....
