I stayed here on business for two nights with several co-workers. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It is a beautiful hotel, especially if you enjoy the historical brick building. It was very clean and well maintained. The rooms were nice and the bed was very comfortable. Of course, as I've come to expect from Georgia, the staff was very friendly...

We are located right across the street from the Chattahoochee River and our new "RiverWalk" and it takes you throughout downtown. You must try our "White Water Rafting" upon your next...

My husband and I were delighted when we checked in and found the hotel was in a re-purposed mill. Our room was spacious and had original wood beams and a brick wall. Although some guests might not appreciate it, we especially enjoyed seeing (and hearing) the train go down the street right outside our room. The room was clean and...

We are so proud of our "history" and in 1982, the original brick was restored and converted into part of the Hotel we now call the "Historic Columbus Marriott"! This portion of the Hotel houses 2-story suites with loft bedrooms, banquet rooms, the Grist Mill Coffee Shop and "Houlihan's"!

I always stay at the downtown/uptown Marriott when working in Columbus, GA. It's across the street from the Chattahoochee RiverWalk, a beautiful 22 mi walking/biking trail that skirts the Chattahoochee River and within easy walking distance of great new restaurants that have opened in the old historical district of the city. The Concierge Lounge at this Marriott has the best...

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel recently and absolutely loved the staff and the unique hotel. What a great place. The food was really good and service was good. The front desk staff used my name several times.

I was here for a few days due to a yearly state event that is held at this location. The hotel is lovely, a mix of old and new. It has a great common area with plenty of seating near a restaurant and coffee shop. The location was just perfect. Within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The cons, although...

We are so proud of the history of our Downtown Marriott Hotel and with part of the Property was originally a flour mill in the 1800's. The Atrium Lobby features the original brick of the Empire Grist Mill and exposed wooden beams, which many of our guests enjoy viewing and asking questions about our history. Thank you for your feedback...

My family and I traveled to the Columbus area in late January 2015, to visit our son whom is stationed at Ft. Benning Georgia. At first we booked with another chain hotel near the base. But upon our arrival to the area, we immediately switched our reservations and stay at the Columbus Marriott. That was a wise move. Customer Service...

My husband and I stayed here for the last 3 nights with our two young sons since we were in the area for my stepson's Army graduation. We drove down from NY. I tend to be picky about hotels, especially since I have family in the hotel/convention center/hospitality business (but not connected to Marriott, so I'm not at all biased...

The Coca Cola Space Science Center is right across the street and on the "RiverWalk" side of the Chattahoochee River - it is the very first Science Center in the US to have a full display of the Space Shuttle! If you looking for SLOW internet and LUKE WARM morning showers then you found the right place. Tried downloading a document in my room with a 22 hour expected download time.
