An incredibly personal experience. We arrived late (late) Friday night after a long drive - we were later than we expected to be, but Paul, being the gracious host that he is, met us at the door and welcomed us after our long drive. Paul was the most amazing host. We stayed in the wonderful "Serenity Room" on the upstairs... More

My husband and i just returned from a fantastic getaway at Mountain Top Lodge. The location is perfect-so peaceful and picturesque, and only a few miles from Dahlonega. Rooms are simple and cozy, with several welcoming common areas. The bed was very comfortable. Bathrooms are pretty small-but they're very clean and provided all we needed. Breakfast was great, and the... More

If you are looking for a place to getaway in the mountains this is it! Beautiful main lodge with decks and porches all around. We stayed in the separate hillside lodge with just 4 rooms. We had a private entrance and our own deck.....so peaceful. Paul the owner is so nice and his homemade breakfasts are fabulous! Decor is lovely... More

We really enjoyed this B&B. Paul was quite the host. Very attentive and nice stories...lol Very clean and the perfect location. The WiFi worked better than we expected, so we were able to use our electronic devices for entertainment (no TV). We will visit again.

We were quite satisfied with our accommodations, and Paul, the Innkeeper, was quite engaging. Breakfast was quite a treat for all of us and was a good ending to a very pleasant stay. The setting is quite nice, and downtown Dahlonega is only a 10-15 minute drive away. The only partial negative is that, although the inn sits on a... More

Great accommodations, great breakfast, friendly owner. We were the only ones staying over the weekend so we had the whole cabin, plus space at the main cabin to ourselves. We saw deer right outside of our room the first morning when we woke up. I am gluten free and Paul was extremely accommodating with breakfast. He pointed us in the... More

My husband and I had a great time (again) staying at this B&B. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable with a great view of the mountain. Nice bathroom too. You also get a full gourmet breakfast each morning. Friendly staff. This is where we stay when we come to visit Dahlonega.

Three quarters of a mile long, single lane and you come to the property. A main lodge with a number of rooms and two "homes" with four rooms each. Nice room, with a deck over looking the forest. No TV and internet is spotty. Don't be late to breakfast - - drives the innkeeper nuts. Breakfasts are not much to... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mountain Top Lodge. It's just beautiful and restful. We took long walks and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the woods with no TV. The room was comfortable and roomy and we had a nice private deck just outside our door. The innkeeper was so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. What else would... More
