This is the ideal base station for hiking the Appalachian Trail approach area. Starts with a moderate 5 mile hike in from Amicalola Falls (beautiful). Allow 3 hours max but be on time for 6:00 PM prompt family style dinner (everyone together at long tables)....More

I loved the hike to and from along with my stay! Make sure you get there in time for the tour of the Inn. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing!!! I also got lunch for the hike back down. I love the practices of nature...More

I'm 5'-9". The mattresses had at least a foot to spare. They are extra long, and in my opinion, should be OK for tall guests.

You can take your own wine.... no need for flip flops ... your stay will be wonderful!
