Easy 5 mile hike through beautiful woods to reach the rustic Hike Inn. A slightly longer route is available via a portion of the Appalachian Trail Approach. Nice facilities, including sheets and towels and hot showers! Wonderful food - dinner and breakfast included in the price. Advance reservations a must during peak times. There are 20 bunk rooms, and only...

My second visit to the Hike Inn was even more enjoyable than the first. Once again, after a lovely hike, we were greeted by Bill who shared his lovely photos with us and set us up with our rooms. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the staff, at all times, were friendly and accommodating. Corrine, led a yoga for campers...

The trail up was a little strenuous for me, but I did not have walking sticks. I did make it!!!! Hike Inn is awesome. Wonderful employees and volunteers, even more wonderful food, clean simple surroundings and the nicest experience is meeting those who have hiked up too. I will definitely be back!

I loved the Hike Inn! The facilities and food were great. The food is excellent. I highly recommend purchasing the sack lunch especially if you plan to hike to Springer Mtn. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely return.

This was on my list of things to do for a long time. Finally made it and it was well worth the wait. Lodging, food, service are all top notch. I recommend the sack lunch as well for the hike out you won't find a better value on food of this quality. Unplug and relax with a cup of coffee...

I have been coming to the Hike Inn for years and every time is wonderful. The hike in is 5 miles and you can hike back out on an alternate trail making it a loop if you like. If you stay over for a second day or want to make the hike out a longer trip Springer Mountain (Southern terminus...

The lodging, facilities, food and staff were wonderful. I'm not sure I have ever been to such a clean rustic place. The hike in and out is a gentle five miles. We were fortunate enough to see a black bear up a tree around the 3.1 marker. I plan to go back in the winter to enjoy the views.

The Len Foote Hike Inn was an O.K experience. It felt rushed-as if staff were in a hurry to get cleaned up and done. Not really the relaxed feel I thought it would be. Dinner was great, breakfast not so much. The packed lunches are a good idea, especially if you are hiking longer way out. The hike in and...
