This was a nice, comfortable place to stay. I wish all hotels were like this one. Check in was quick and easy. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was above average. Hampton Inn is sometimes questionable but this location is top notch.
We opted to book this hotel on our way to the Atlanta Aquarium and then travel to Florida. 2 Queen Suite. It was SO CLEAN, friendly front desk staff and we were pleasantly surprised how good the omelets were at breakfast. As we debated our return from Florida, we decided to stop to visit the Coca Cola Museum in Atlanta and then stay one more night at the Hampton Inn. It didn't disappoint. Tip: It appears the the best option might be call their front desk to make reservations as I was charged crazy fees even when reserving off of their website. Apparently it automatically takes you to a third party? Pro's: Great Breakfast, Sanitizing Stations, small gym, great surrounding options for restaurants and shopping and an outdoor pool. Con's: Suggest switching out serving utensils at the buffet more frequently and that front desk staff not sit and smoke at the entrance. Not a good look.…
I exclusively only stay at Hampton Inns and I must say this one was very disappointing. It started out our air conditioner wasn't even working properly it could barely cool the room, and my daughter said she found hair in the bathroom. I was very dismayed to find that this hotel did not have a refrigerator in our room causing us to have to ice down a cooler that was not waterproof to keep our food safe. As far as the breakfast bar goes I don't know what was going on with that food but it was inedible, I ended up throwing everything away and I found it very inconvenient to have to go to a complete other room to get a hot beverage. if somebody wanted coffee or tea they had to go into the lobby which was separate from where they were serving breakfast. It also seems like the breakfast was half the size of other breakfast bars at Hampton Inns. The hotel does not look like it's been remodeled at all since it was built, the rugs are worn and everything just looks dirty. I also feel that something should be done about the parking lot, it feels Dark and Dangerous even though it was lit. Needless to say I won't be going back to this particular location.…
We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and loved it. It is conveniently located near the interstate. We enjoyed dining at an Outback Steakhouse which is within walking distance from the hotel. However, this time, our stay was very disappointing! My husband and I first noticed when we entered the room a very unpleasant odor. Then we noticed the thermostat had a sign on it that stated it was out of order. We had to adjust the temperature in the room by pressing the buttons on the unit itself. Then we noticed someone had put a plastic bag over the smoke detector. There was some type stain on the walls that looked like something had been sprayed on them. The floors were beyond nasty! My shoes kept sticking to the tile floors, so I took them off and walked around in my socks. When I looked at my socks after about an hour of walking around just in the hotel room on the carpet and tile, I found they were extremely dirty! The telephone did not have any directory or instructions to find how to call the front desk. The toilet dripped the whole time we were there. We are Hilton Honors members, but will not stay at this hotel in the future.…
We travel frequently to this area to visit family. It has been a few years since we stayed at this location and sorry to say we will not be back. There is not enough parking especially when moving trucks and vehicles towing trailers take up several parking spots. The rooms have not been maintained. Holes in the doors, wall paper peeling, and covers falling off the HVAC unit to name few things.
The room was not ready the room also needed maintenance air condition unit making noise bathroom had mold under the shower seat the wallpaper and the molding was coming off the wall. The bed was real uncomfortable lumpy and seem to be unbalance.
I've stayed here when visiting family at least 15 times over the last 8 years. It used to be nice but has quickly gone downhill the past couple years. The employees are less friendly and helpful and the property shows a general lack of maintenance. Presently staying in a room that reeks of smoke but they have no other rooms to move us to so they knocked a few dollars off the rate. AC controls don't work and I killed a cockroach in the bathroom. There aren't a lot of other options in Douglasville, but we'll be staying at the Holiday Inn Express in the future, which has been much better maintained.
I used to stay at this location a few years back and it was a lot cleaner and friendlier. NOW, the rooms need upgrading with obvious water damage showing in the bathroom. Continental breakfast was cold every day.
Very convenient to Interstate 95. Plenty of fast food restaurants in this location. The beds were very comfortable the room was clean. Had a couple stains on the couch, chair but nothing extremely bad. They had a full hot breakfast also with the fruit. The hostess serving the breakfast was very kind sweet talking with guest. A little pricey but it is the Hampton Inn. If I had another business trip definitely will be staying here again. Hopefully the price willl drop a little down
I reserved two rooms. The first one my friends were assigned had bed bugs. They moved rooms. My room had a live cockroach, rust on the bathroom light fixture, a non-functional HVAC system and a non-functional phone. I called to the front desk to be moved and they were out of rooms. Avoid this location.
