My Husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We stayed over on our way to Douglas to visit the cemetery for Mothers day. It was very relaxing walking around the beautiful grounds. They had a beautiful gazeebo that we sat and read and relaxed. For dinner it was an easy walk to town. Breakfast was great. We will definitely stay...

If you are ever in Fitzgerald, GA, a stay at the Dorminy-Massee House B&B is a MUST! Mark and Sherri Massee are wonderful hosts and the Dorminy-Massee House has its place in history, as does Fitzgerald. Me and 8 members of my family had the opportunity to stay at the Dorminy-Massee House recently and we all absolutely loved our experience....

Fitzgerald is a nice town with an interesting history. The grandest home in town is the Dorminy-Massee House B&B. The B&B is, obviously, lovingly maintained. And the whole place is very well appointed with a lot of thought given to supplying almost everything that a guest might need. The room was very comfortable. Our only negative would be the breakfast....

The Dorminy-Massee House is an immersion in Southern hospitality. The owners, Mark and Sherri Massee, welcomed us and made us feel like royalty during our stay. The home is a beautiful southern mansion, 100 years old. It has been beautifully restored and one should expect that you will experience what privileged travelers would have experienced in the early 20th century....

This Southern charming 1915 home was beautiful and an absolute treat. The owners, Sherry and Mark Massee, were the ultimate hosts and thought of everything. Their Christmas decorations added to the surprise of a wonderful house.

No doubt, a peaceful, beautiful home, with old southern charm, however missing a few details that would make this a 4 or 5 star B & B. Almost every use of the toilet required the provided use of a plunger, the shower head was the kind u would find in a cheap motel. Also the addition of a full length...

We enjoyed our two-night stay at the Dorminy-Massee House. The room and bath were very comfortable and clean. Our only suggestions for improvement would be to provide more than one fairly flat pillow per person (we like to prop up in bed for TV and computer use) and to use real china cups for coffee in the mornings. The use...

We chose this site from the internet unsure of what to expect. Boy were we happy with the selection. The home was beautiful and the room was more than we expected. We are looking forward to our visit next year.

The Dorminy-Massee House is an exquisite piece of southern history. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The owner, Sherri, was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and convenient. I would highly recommend the Dorminy-Massee House.

My wife and I do a lot of traveling; for business and for pleasure. Our favorite places to stay are Bed and Breakfasts because you experience the local atmosphere much better than staying in a typical hotel. You also are afforded the opportunity to meet locals, such as the inn-keepers, and form new friendships. In December 2012, we had the...
