Stayed at the Folkston Inn to be near the Okefenokee Swamp. We found the hosts to be very welcoming and accommodating, the breakfast was good and our room was very comfortable. Met some interesting guests that were in Folkston to "watch trains." More expensive than other options in town, but undoubtedly nicer.

We were on our way to Florida and did not know much about Folkston except it was close to the Okefenokee swamp, which we wished to tour. The innkeepers were very nice and were always asking if we had any needs. We discovered that a large number of trains run through Folkston and people come there to watch trains. They...

We celebrated Valentine's Day this year at the Inn at Folkston and we couldn't have been more pleased. Ted and his wife Alease had some special surprises waiting in our room and the attention to detail and the level of service we received was outstanding. They welcomed us with open arms, shared local tips and recommendations, and overall, made us...

This B&B is a lovely place to stay. The hosts are gracious and made my visit enjoyable. The town of Folkston is quaint and off the beaten track. Two good restaurants are within a short walking distance of the inn: a thai restaurant (Thai Smile) and a family style buffet restaurant (The Okefenokee). It costs more to stay here than...

We selected the Inn at Folkston as the site for our wedding. Ted and Alease Kelly were most accommodating for all of our needs. The garden room was perfect for our honeymoon stay and Ted served delicious breakfasts that catered to my paleo eating style. You couldn't ask for more gracious hosts (I guess you could ask, but you wouldn't...

My wife, daughter, extended family and me, a small group totaling 7, had the pleasure of spending a long weekend as guests of Ted and Elise at the Inn at Folkston. We were in town to celebrate our son's wedding. What an amazing property. The rooms were all uniquely decorated, large, homey and very comfortable. The oversized front porch and...

I agree with the other posts. You are treated quite personably by the owners. Coffee was made for me before 6 AM. It is very clean and breakfast is quite good. I would stay again. Homemade sweets are available on a central hall table when you arrive.

Our extended family stayed at the Inn at Folkston for my brother's wedding. As out town guests, we weren't sure where to stay, but the Inn was the perfect place for us. The owners (Ted and Elise) were so welcoming - they felt like part of our family by the time our visit was over! If you're looking for lodgings...

"Deluxe" is an understatement. The decor is gorgeous = attention to detail! awesome amenities! immaculately clean! - and you will treated like a King or Queen. This is my new favorite B&B for sure. Really close to the swamp = great place for artists, bird watchers, nature lovers, outdoorsmen, etc. Also the town itself is very cute & a perfect...

We spent one night here after a wonderful day visiting Okefenokee Swamp. The inn is very homey and cozy. Ted, the owner, served us a delicious breakfast. He works hard on serving as many locally grown items as he can. It was fun talking to him. He was gracious and kind. The train activity was also fun. If we ever...
