Like most of the reviews I will agree that the pictures of the site aren't what it looks like today. The buildings need a new coat of paint and the banisters need to be nailed back down! The lady who runs the place is older and doesn't have a lot of help. She is very kind and fun to talk...

While not quite as bad as some of the reviews it is far from excellent. The grounds need work. The buildings need painting. However on the plus side the rooms were adequate. Everything matched. Small sitting area was nice. Refrigerator was not a small cube but a fairly good size. Flat screen tv with cable. On the minus side. There...

We reserved a room for our weekend get away. When we arrived we were appauled by the looks of the buildings. The photos you see had to be taken 10+ years ago. They are run down and junky. We didn't even check in. Awful needs to be plowed down and have something else built in its place.

My cousin booked this for an Oktoberfest weekend. Just walking into the 'lobby' was the first clue, very cluttered and old. We opened the door and it smelled, the wallpaper was peeling off, the carpet bad, the sheets, bedding, pillows - all at least 40 years old it seemed!! The furniture was mismatched and didn't work, plus was dark like...

It's.. just horrible. I haven't been here in three years since I banned it from my travel list. Then friends stayed here over the weekend in Octoberfest (2014) and had the same experience we had. It is a horrible horrible hotel. Filthy rooms, rude owners refusing to fix electrical issues (the management, at least during our stay, was a very...

Me and 4 friends booked a room a month and a half in advance for a 1 night Saturday stay for Oktoberfest through one of the booking sites, I forgot which one (kayak, priceline, hotels). When we arrived Saturday half an hour after check in, we went to the lobby to find an old lady who ran the show. We...

The rate was cheap and after stepping into the room I saw why it was so cheap. There was cobwebs all around the ceiling, the mirror above the sink hadn't been cleaned, the tub had hair in it, the top of the toilet tank had hair on it. There was a stove and oven...don't know if they worked, there was...

This place really is in a perfect location. It is behind Main Street which I can imagine gets pretty loud during Oktoberfest. Since it was at the end of June, there really wasn't anyone there. I think we may have been the only couple besides one other that stayed there. The lady that runs the place is so pleasant that...

Horrible hotel. Staff was rude, shower was moldy and falling apart, the toilet ran constantly, and there was no toilet paper or towels in the room when we checked in. I went to the front desk to ask for some and the lady acted like I was lying. The pipe under the bathroom sink dripped constantly so the entire area...
