I stayed here because it was one of three hotels that the person at the visitor center said had an attached indoor pool. My 9 year old loves to swim in the evenings when we travel. We got a small discount by picking up a coupon from the visitor center. It was an average budget, no frills hotel. The room... More

I made a reservation online with the Ramada booking site - got a confirmation e-mail - but the desk clerk didn't know and didn't care about it. Told me I had NO reservation. 800# folks said I did, but the hotel wouldn't honor it. Customer service person said Ramada Inns are privately owned and operated and can make their own... More

Lori was a one woman do everything. Where duty calls she was there. Ramada Limited should be proud to have a staff member like her. She is a very customer oriented woman. She (and her sister, manager Rhonda), made our 2 night stay there very comfortable. I commend them for there great southern personalities and professionalism. The only negative was,... More

Our family visits Helen often and if we are not camping, we choose to stay at Ramada. The clerk is very accomodating and the kids love the indoor pool and hot tub. The rooms are clean and we always feel we got our moneys worth. If you would like a short walk you can definitely walk to town.

Advertised as within walking distance to festival and activities - NOT TRUE! Hotel is 1+ miles and would not be safe to walk after dark as a good part of walk would not be well lit. Other than that, the rooms were clean (smelled of Pinesol, which I don't like) and was a good value compared to other hotels in... More

Stay at the Ramada in Helen, GA if you like unsanitary conditions. I recently took a trip to Helen for a car show. I had planned to stay at the Ramada. I checked in and went to my room. As most travelers do these days, my friends and I had laptops and cell phones that needed to be plugged in.... More
