B&B is a circa 1940s mountain farmhouse style home. The inn is reminiscent of more laid back days, featuring stunning pasture and mountain views, porch swings and rockers. All 4 guest rooms have private baths. One bedrooms are suites. The Cove Cabin comfortably sleeps up to 6 and has 3 bedrooms, 1 & 1/2 baths and is child and small pet friendly. Located just 1/2 mile off US 76 and five minutes from downtown Hiawassee, GA, Henson Cove Place is a retreat set in a private and quiet "holler". Hiawassee is a North Georgia Mountain community that still has that small town feel. Located just minutes from Helen and Clayton, GA, NC, SC, TN and just 15 minutes from Georgia's highest point - Brasstown Bald (4,784 feet). Nature abounds! Convenient to many great attractions with a variety of things to do... or nothing at all.
I am so glad we chose to stay at Henson Cove Place this weekend!! The pictures online are pretty, but the house is so beautiful in person! Every detail has been thought of for your stay... magazines, dozens of DVDs, WIFI... There are nice snacks and wine out in the evenings, as well as a delicious breakfast each morning! When we came back on the second evening, there was a plate of chocolate covered strawberries with a note for us in the fridge. The bed in the Mountain View room was very comfortable, and our room felt peaceful and private. There is so much to do in the area, we will have to come back. Please come here - it will be a special experience, for sure!

It was our first stay in a B&B. We had the Mountain View room, which had a very comfortable bed, but the pillows were WAY to soft for me. The room was clean & the B&B had a homey, comfortable feel. Our room had a private bathroom, stocked with all the amenities, about 8-10 feet away in the hall. In the late afternoons, Dave and Mariah put out wine in the kitchen. Breakfasts, in the cozy dining area were tasty, with fresh squeezed orange juice. It was very relaxing to sit on the front porch on the swing or in a rocking chair. The second night we were there all 3 rooms were booked, but it was very quiet. Proprietors amiable and helpful. Besides the pillow being too soft, the only complaint I have is that the place was very dark - floors, walls and ceiling all are dark wood and…

We had a wonderful time at this cozy B&B! Dave & Mariah were fantastic host. They were very welcoming, not to mention would answer any questions and offer up what to check out while there. The breakfast was simply delicious both mornings. The snacks in the afternoon were also a nice touch. (Brownies,Nut mixture, cookies, granola bars and WINE!!) If you are looking to escape and enjoy some peace and quiet this is the place for you. They only offer cable in 1 common room but have a large DVD collection. Then again... you don't escape to the mountains to watch TV! They are close to so many hiking trails and winery's! We had a wonderful, memorable stay.

This is a rustic lil place tucked away in the northeast Georgia mountains near Hiawssee. We picked the cabin which sleeps more than just us two but we wanted the extra room and the privacy. The cabin is quaint and small, but luckily it was just the two of us so it was perfect even though I needed to duck when I was upstairs. The grounds were good for having just came through a big winter with lots of snow and rain. The wifi is non existent in the cabin and I never got anything to load in the big house but hey it was a getwY. Our hosts were exceptional and their breakfasts are to do for, I soon forgot everything and enjoyed myself tremendously. We will definitly be back and the B&B is minutes away from some great antiquing.

A great get away, very clean and comfortable, great views and near to Appalachian trail hiking and easy distance to Helen. The breakfasts are gourmet level cooking. The hosts will go beyond what I would expect to make sure you are comfortable. Both are well suited to the B n B business and are quite knowledgeable and able to speak on many topics or will let you have your space to read or chill. We had a great experience and would recommend Henson Cove to anyone seeking a clean, rustic mountain get away. We would go back.

A nice and quiet getaway for couples. The warmth and the atmosphere reminded you of visiting your grandma in the country. There were plenty of snacks and wine and delicious breakfast. Mariah and Dave went out of their way to assist each couple in planning their weekend by making restaurant and winery reccomendations.

This is a great B&B for couples and the all girls weekend! The beds were comfortable, the rooms adorable, and the food was fabulous! We entered the house to the smell of fresh homemade brownies! Mariah & Dave went out of there way to accommodate some diet restrictions, along with providing little extras like beautifully chocolate dipped strawberries, and the taste of some local wines. We also had a clear cool evening that included a wonderful fire in the fire pit to sit around and enjoy conversation and a sip of wine! Mariah and Dave also gave us some great tips on where to eat, places to visit, tips on some great hiking, and any local or nearby festivities, It's definitely on my list for a return trip! I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to have a nice relaxing…

My best friend and I went for a few relaxing days to the mountains and stayed at Henson Cove. The views are fabulous and the owners, Dave and Mariah, go out of their way to make you feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious and we had brownies and wine waiting for us in the afternoons! We will definitely be back and will recommend it to all of our friends!!
