The owners are wonderful! Who can resist the charms of this guesthouse. It has lovely sitting areas, immaculate rooms, and the food is delicious. This little village is adorable. Wild horses roam and easy hiking in the escarpment is great. All in all a perfect rest from the world.

My wife and I spent two days at Kaapsche Hoop after returning from our Kruger National Park holiday. After having read the favourable reviews on Kaapsche Hoop Gastehuis we decided to stay there which turned out to be an excellent choice. Upon our arrival we were welcomed in a warm and friendly way by the owners Neels and Ria who...

We stayed in Room 8, which is spacious (with the best bath and oodles of hot water!) - well equipped with gigantic bed, extra annex with bunk beds and a separate sitting room - more like a suite than a room. Breakfasts were delicious & plentiful (Chef Olga's cheese, tomato & onion omelette and french toast are menu musts!) Hosts...

We have just spent the weekend at Kapsche Hoop Gastehuis and Ria and Neels totally made a delightful stay FANTASTIC! I have never experienced hospitality at this level, and we have stayed at some extraordinary properties. They could not have been more kind, more accommodating, more welcoming . This is not my usual type of place to stay as I'm not really into quaint and homey. However, this place was wonderful. I stayed here as part of a work-related event. The owners were warm and friendly, my room was lovely, clean, and very comfortable, and I can't say enough about the wonderful home-cooked meals. Many thanks for introducing...

My sisters and I spent one night at the Kaapsche Hoop Gastehuis. We were treated like royalty on arrival. Accommodation was spotless and so luxurious. Ria's homecooked dinner was delicious and the dining room makes you feel right at home. After a peaceful and comfortable sleep we were treated to a glorious breakfast. Overall - a fantastic taste in a...

Great place to stay. Sweet hosts, good food and a warm bed. Good to stay for business and pleasure. The little town is always worth a visit. The stone formations and unique. It is like walking in Park of sculptures.

This is truly a lesson in service for others B&B's, in fact for other tiny destination village. The friendly atmosphere and hands on management of this establishment means that we were greeted like old friends and made to feel relaxed. The rooms have everything you need including a bed the size of small island. Carefull where you eat in the...

Recently we stopped over coming back from Kruger National Park at the Gastehuis. Although it was the end of a long weekend and the hotel was virtually empty, the staff made us feel welcome and at home. Be aware of all the friendly neighbourhood pets who are roaming the streets and want to be patted. Breakfast was great and they...
