Thank you for your great review, it is always lovely when guests pass on the recommendation to friends and family. We are so pleased it lived up to expectations, hope to see more of the family soon!
Stayed one night on our way down to Plymouth, the entire accommodation has a lovely authentic feel and the hosts are extremely welcoming.

We had an unforgettable stay at The Old Parsonage after our hosts Charlotte and Brian very kindly gave us one of their family rooms as they were fully booked. This beautiful, historic building is not a B & B, it is a country house which...More

So pleased you enjoyed your stay and that we could help you out at the last minute.
We broke our journey from Southport to St Mawes with an overnight at the Old Parsonage. It was an excellent choice. We were welcomed warmly by our hosts and offered tea / coffee on arrival. The Red Room was clean, fresh and comfortable. As so...More

Not at the hotel but....apart from an indian and a pub you must visit The Old Station Inn, barely 2 mins. away. really quirky old pub with the bar stuffed with odds and sods and even half a car sticking out of the wall. Out back there is a carriage from the Flying Scotsman used as as dining car, really furnished nice. Food is great and not too expensive, landlady is Welsh and can't do enough for you. The Old Parsonage recommended this place to us as did friends who live in Bath.
The next village (Midsomer Norton) is only a couple of miles away with a lot of restaurants.
