We stayed 3 nights for our 11 year anniversary getaway, and Madison Oaks lived up to its highly-touted reputation. It was an amazing experience! It was like living in our own private mansion (with a georgeous pool), coming home to our family every day (the way you feel with Cheryl and H.D.), and being completely pampered (from the gourmet breakfasts...

The Madison Oaks was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. My husband and I were celebrating our 23rd anniversary and wanted a relaxing weekend away. The inn and gardens were lovely and Cheryl was a wonderful hostess. We enjoyed sharing a complimentary glass of wine and our morning coffee on the screened porch. The breakfasts were delicious, beautifully presented,...

Beautiful large estate with lots of shade trees that made outdoors extremely pleasant even in the summer heat. Also has a great pool to relax and cool off. Great big front porch and screened-in sitting and eating areas were a bonus. Large rooms with a lot of character, little goodies, and great coffee and tea every morning were a few...

We were in town for a wedding and decided to stay at a B&B since we had never done so. I am so glad we did and my only regret is that we were not able to stay longer! The innkeeper, Cheryl, made us feel completely at home, as if she were opening up her own home to us. The...

Cheryl Cannington, the Innkeeper of the Madison Oaks Inn & Gardens provided just the right mix of friendly and helpful but giving us time alone. Since we were the only guests she was flexible about when breakfast was served and allowed us a late check out. Breakfast was elegant, leisure and yummy. The Inn was clean and beautifully restored and...

A truly delightful place to stay, with the ambience of elegant, antebellum charm. Cheryl, the Innkeeper, was so warm and welcoming, we felt we were coming home. The exquisitely decorated common rooms, complete with a perfectly tuned grand piano in the music room, were breathtaking. Our sunny guest room, the Thomas Room, which overlooked the front entrance and side garden...

I have stayed in many B&Bs around the country and Madison Oaks is just THE BEST! I was there over Mother's Day Weekend to attend the Spring Tour of Homes (which was also fabulous!). Inn keeper Cheryl was literally on the front steps to welcome us - talk about that famous Southern hospitality! The home and property are beyond wonderful....

Our little group just loved Madison Oaks Inn! Such a perfect place to get away, visit and relax. So many great things to see and do (and eat!) in town too!

We chose to stay at the Madison Oaks for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. It was the perfect way to celebrate. Not only is the Inn beautiful, but the grounds are immaculate. We left knowing that we definitely would plan to come back as soon as possible. Our hostess was most gracious. She makes you feel welcome and 'at home' as...

“Ask for a room with a private bath. A privacy screen is provided for the room with not private bath. It is not a big problem because all the other rooms have their own bathroom. There is a claw footed tub in that bath and in the room with two beds.”

“Only 4 rooms available - all are individually furnished and charming. See website for details.”

“You can't go wrong here. The Thomas Room had a queen bed, and I'm pretty sure the Hannah & Barons Rooms did too. The Sisters Room had 2 single beds. All had very nice en suite bathrooms except the Barons room, which had a privacy screen in the hallway between the adjacent doorways. The Thomas Room had a shower, the Barons & Sisters Rooms had claw-foot tubs, and I don't recall what the Hannah Room had, although that bathroom was the nicest of them all.”

“All the rooms are lovely but you may want to ask for a room with an attached bathroom if that is important to you. Our bathroom was outside the room but we felt perfectly comfortable with it.”

“I do not believe we had the most expensive room, though we had our own bath, so I do not believe you can go wrong with any room.”
