Well worth the trip. Beautiful doesn't even describe it. The local library even has a free park pass you can check out, if you are a GA resident and have a Pines library card. Just a helpful tip! There are trails, horseback riding near by, camping, and so much more!

We have camped here 2x now and will come back again. The state park is beautiful and close to the downtown area. There are a lot of attractions in the area as well. The only drawback is that all state parks do not have grey and black water hookups on your campsite.

Our family has been visiting here off and on for over 30 years. The preservation of the natural habitat, coupled with state of the art facilities and a great appreciation for history, combine for a remarkable and affordable experience. Relaxing, yet invigorating, this destination offers both great exercise and rest. The cabins are our favorites, along with the hiking trails...

This place is small but beautiful, it feels like you are much further north in the Smokey Mountains because of the forests and views. It would make a great summertime weekend getaway. They have kayaks and paddle boat rentals, fishing, cabins, and more. It is a very calm and serene place. RV sites have electric and water, and grounds are...

Did a tour of the park and surrounding areas on our Vespa 300s. Great for motorcycles and scooters that are 200cc or faster. Stopped and got an ice cold Coke Zero from the machine at the camp store (which was closed). The grounds were very well kept, free of trash and the roads were hilly and smooth.

This is one of the best state parks to visit. Pine Mountain, Callaway Gardens, FDR Little White House and much more near by like Warm Springs! Park is clean, safe, and full of adventure! Not my first trip here and no where near the last! Great hiking!

We stayed in the campground during the Martin Luther King long weekend. We camped for 2 nights and totally loved the campground. There was plenty of room between our campsites. The bathrooms were clean, well lit and warm and had hot showers. You check in at the welcome center, then drive through the campground to chose your site. We hiked...

I camped two nights at the campground with my dog and myself. As a woman alone, I felt very safe. We hiked the trails with the waterfalls and one with a great overlook. It was a wonderful time. It was May, and there weren't very many other people yet, and we had a great site right on Lake Delano. You...

We arrived for Labor Day weekend, pulled into a great spot, and set up for a wonderful weekend. I will say that there are a limited number of large pull through slots for big rigs. Wonderful Trading Post store on site, Stocked with everything that you should need plus more. Great hiking trails, and lots of elevation. Close to Callaway...

We were greeted at the welcome center by a park ranger. He was extremely cordial and helpful. We hiked the wolfden trail. The trail was well maintained and well marked. Very picturesque with moderate difficulty. The highlight was cascade falls. I will definitely be back
