My family and I stayed for four nights for a Holiday over the NT School Holidays. The reason I chose the Rose and Crown was simply due to the fact it was roughly located in between the Adelaide CBD and the Barossa Valley, I really wanted to have a day with my family in the City and the following day... I stayed here because it was the closest to the hospital where I was visiting a sick relative. It was very cheap. I started in the only "suite" which was a one bedroom arrangement with lots of other beds, clearly used mostly for large groups. The bathroom was very small and in a strange location in the room. The room... More

We only needed to stay for the night and found the accommodation better than expected. We our kids with us and actually had two rooms, one for sleeping and a lounge/dining/kitchen room (very good when travelling with little ones!) Because we had accommodation, we received 25% off the bill at the bistro. The food was good (although the battered fish... More

We had Sunday Lunch here, Decor is average, Staff okay, Food Excellent Value. I wouldn't say it's the best we have been to but if you are looking for good honest food at a reasonable price it will suit. Did not have a Wine list but had about 7 wines available, chose a very nice Mclarenvale Red at $28 Bottle.... More

Staff friendly. Parking not a problem. Visited for lunch. Very quiet with only a few patrons eating lunch. No salad bar only chips, wedges and gravies. I had roast of the day which was turkey (rolled) and vegetables served on plate. Others at table had mixed grilles and chicken parmagana. All meals reasonable size but took a long time to... More
