Snug in the mountains of North Georgia, this gem of a place is a true "gotta go back there" destination. Lloyd and Johnna are fabulous hosts, and Chef Jeff can cook up a storm. The views from the wrap around porch are spectacular, the rooms are comfortable, the dogs and cats are friendly: there isn't anything I would change about... More

This place is rustic, and an antique is at every turn. We were warmly welcomed by Lloyd and all the folks at the house. They were all willing to answer questions about the house and area. I enjoyed looking at the pictures and relics scattered about the house. We did not have dinner there, but Jeff (the chef) offered a... More

Loved my stay here. The owner Lloyd was extremely helpful. He was very knowledgeable of the area. Our room was nice and clean. Beautiful views. I highly recommend visiting this B&B. Close to Helen, Georgia but without all the crowds. Family friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with coffee flowing.

The Stovall House Inn is worth staying in for the grounds alone. The views are spectacular, the setting peaceful & serene. You will think you are in the late 1800's. Lloyd is very friendly jovial fella with a great personality. The food is amazing. Lots of surprises with the stories of the house and area.

Was pleasantly surprised with this place. We've never done a bed a breakfast before so we didn't have a lot of expectations, but we were provided a very relaxing stay. The house and property are beautiful-though looks very "lived in". If you're expecting a hotel with sterile rooms/hallways and surrounding grounds, you'll be disappointed. This place looks and feels like... More

Cockroaches in my room! Spider webs in corners and tons of poison ivy everywhere u walk! The sheets are thin And stained. Cats and dogs are all over the house, including the kitchen!... leaving their hair everywhere. When I asked for a vacuum, the reply was "we don't have one". I can't believe the reviews are so good. I guess... More

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful, quirky B&B. We loved everything about it, from the friendly golden retriever who greeted us on arrival, to the wraparound porch with views of the hills, to the fascinating collections and family memorabilia on display in the common rooms, and ESPECIALLY the breakfast. This wasn't some fancy plate of sugary pastries that... More

This place is absolutely fantastic. Lloyd and his staff were incredible and this place is very charming and nice change of pace from the traditional hotel stay. The rooms are very comfy, aside from the twin beds pushed together to make a "king" and the tiny quarters in the shower. This is an older house, so I understand the arrangements... More

We absolutely LOVED this quaint place. The owner, Lloyd, only adds to the enjoyment and experience. It's quiet and the food is just amazing. Very friendly and so beautiful. I traveled in from California to meet an old romance after 42 yrs and am definitely going back. Great visit. Well worth it!!!!
