If you are looking for a clean and private campsite you may be disappointed. We arrived to plastic bits on the ground and burned and crushed beer cans in the fire-pit. The view was gorgeous and our neighbors were friendly. The bathroom facility was always clean, the folks that worked at the park were always helpful and positive. It was...

This used to be one of our favorite places to camp and for the last 5 years we typically camp here during the summer and winter, a few weeks at at time. What was once a tranquil place to camp has now become a body on body experience with no real efforts to maintain what camping is all about. The...

We spent three nights at this campground. It is quite large and the first shock was that we ha, d to pay a $15 entry fee into the park before proceeding to the campground. I was afraid we'd have to pay on each entry, but the campground furnished a sticker for our vehicle which precluded any more entry charges. The...

Wonderful campground. Very peaceful. Enjoyed our stay greatly. Loved kayaking in the lake. Pool could stay open a little later. Would like to see more activities for children and youth sponsored by campground. Overall great place to spend time under the stars. Highly recommend!

We stayed in one of the yurts. Good times! The campground is quiet and peaceful. We felt safe the whole time. The bath houses are not super clean, but good for a campground. The pool was clean. Staff was friendly. Great views of the lake and even the actual Stone Mountain.

We stayed for three nights in June of 2016. We have a 36 foot class A and tow a Jeep. We are a family of 5 with three children. Pros- 1) Nice sites - picnic table and BBQ, ample shade 2) Easy access to Stone Mountain Park via car or shuttle 3) Adequate bathroom/shower facilities 4) Some beautiful locations around...

Upon entering campground, there were not clear signs on where to check-in. The paved roads were so faded, it was hard to see where the lines were on where to park with the camper. After check-in, we were off to our campsite. But because of the i-entrance being a two-way road on a clearly one lane space, it was hard...

We stayed at this campground for a night (could have used more but our vacation time was limited). We chose to stay in a Yurt for the night because it was on the lake. This turned out to be better than I imagined. The view was great and the space inside the Yurt was amazing. It was like entering Dr....

I've never been camping as an adult. I only went camping as a kid once with the Girl Scouts and honestly I didn't enjoy it. I decided that I would be a "good" mom and take my 6yr old son who's been asking to use his sleeping bag outside so I decided to finally do it! I wanted to go...

Beautiful wooded campground. Robins, cardinals, Canadian geese, squirrels (even saw a black one). When you look at the campground map, the land is NOT flat. Loops are terraced to the lake. Individual sites have good spacing, asphalt surfaces for RV but very old and irregular. Few sites are level. Terrain varies. When you back into some sites, the rear of...
