Campground was pretty. The bathrooms were just ok where we were camping but the bathrooms near the pool were newer and air conditioned. A bunch of young people camping the weekend we were there and very noisy but still a good time.

There were lots of positives and negatives to this campsite, but overall our experience was a good one. - The signage in the park is non-existent. If you don't have a map, you will never know where the campground is. It is a couple of miles past the west entrance of the park. - The park sent us an email...

We have camped here a number of times over the last few years. The campground's surroundings are beautiful. The premium rig sites are very nice with wooden decks, full hookups and cable, gas grills and fire pits. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. And of course the campground is located within Stone Mountain Park which is just beautiful. So,...

This place is great!! Incredible overnight sites. We chose to spend the extra $10 bucks for a lakefront site & we were not disappointed. The view out our camper windows were amazing. Stone mountain, the lake, shade from the tall Georgia pines...peaceful.

The pool was unexpectedly closed. This was one of the main amenities we wanted to use. When I called to see if it would reopen the next day. No apologies. No details. No timeline provided. When asked if it would be open later, Joy said robotically, "No. It is closed for maintenance". Turns out Joy had not looked into it,...

stayed at stone mtn campground for 1 week on a "pull thru" space #410. This campground was build in 1965 and I dont think they have made any repairs or upgrades since (except the power poles). the roads were tiny and very bumpy as tree roots have grown thru the surface and very difficult to manuever. the pull thru site,...

We have been to this campground four times, love this place. I will have to say the parking rate you have to pay is a bit steep. Have been on both sides of the campground. Loved both, the quiet, the views, the cleanliness of the campground. It was nice I could get my propane filled, air in the bike tires,...

If you are looking for a clean and private campsite you may be disappointed. We arrived to plastic bits on the ground and burned and crushed beer cans in the fire-pit. The view was gorgeous and our neighbors were friendly. The bathroom facility was always clean, the folks that worked at the park were always helpful and positive. It was...

This used to be one of our favorite places to camp and for the last 5 years we typically camp here during the summer and winter, a few weeks at at time. What was once a tranquil place to camp has now become a body on body experience with no real efforts to maintain what camping is all about. The...
