Very beautiful B&B and grounds good location location. The room was excellent and had a great nights sleep. The owner was extremely hospitable and helpful. Used as part of (Coast to Coast walk + extended stay in Richmond) so we were very grateful for the hot bath and washing and drying facilities. We were served a truly superb breakfast. I...

A lovely place to stay, which is very popular with regular visitors. I did stay during an early September heatwave, never anticipating temperatures could reach 28-30 degrees in North Yorkshire! My only comment would be that different bedding would have been cooler & more comfortable, but I suppose it wouldn't be needed very often in Yorkshire. The mattress had a...

Stayed there for 2 nights in August in an upstairs room with en-suite. Room and en suite had all amenities and was clean. The farmhouse is in a beautiful setting and close to Richmond and surrounding attractions. The room was very quiet ensuring a great night’s sleep. An English breakfast served in the dining room set up the day. Hosts...

I used to live in Richmond and regularly return to visit friends. After encountering a couple of less-than-satisfactory B+Bs in Darlington, I decided to stay at the Whashton Springs Farmhouse just outside of Richmond. I am so pleased I did! The farmhouse is in a idyllic setting, surrounded by nature and land. Jane was so welcoming and warm, like an...

This is a beautiful B&B. Set on a working farm, you know your breakfast is as fresh as it is possible to be! And the rooms are so peaceful; well appointed and very comfortable. I'm looking for an excuse to return.

We stayed overnight as we were attending a wedding nearby. Jane welcomed us (in the tipping rain), and showed us to our spacious room with a HUGE bed! Because we were at the wedding we didn't spend a lot of time at the B&B but the bed was very comfy with clean good quality linen. Breakfast on Sunday morning was...

This B&B is of a high standard, but is very remote and only offers a very short window of opportunity for breakfast, 08:30 to 09:00, but Jane did facilitate an early breakfast for us on the day we asked for it. The rooms are exceptionally clean, but are in need of a bit of updating. The grounds are amazing with...

I stayed here in Feb and had returned for sons passing out parade with 7 family members and still received an excellent service from Jane she obliged for us to have out breakfast early and did t mind us being in our pjs, rooms spotlessly clean and loved the mini toiletries, and the tray of a mixture of hot drinks...

Really love this place. Jane is a wonderful hostess. Our room was spotless and roomy, the bed comfortable. All linens are of a good quality and crisp and clean. Breakfast was most enjoyable. Watched a wide variety of birds just outside our window. The place is so peaceful and yet easily accessible from A1 and A66. Waiting for an excuse...

A lovely 2 night visit began with a warm welcome and good advice about local restaurants. We had good meals at Alessandro's Hideaway in Richmond and The White Swan in the village of West Gilling. Very comfortable (room No.2) with a King-size bed, plenty of room and very quiet! Breakfasts were first class. This venue has been thoughtfully developed over...
