Okay, so I'm writing this review only 3 hours after I landed back in Jakarta from Lombok because I want everything to be coming out fresh from my head and my heart. I have to be honest, I was hesitant at first when my friend decided to stay in this "beach camp" for her birthday getaway trip. Something she called as to reward herself for all her hardwork in years (she's never taken any borthday leave before, FYI). But boy, this girl was so much mistaken. There's nothing else to describe my 4 days 3 nights stay at Jeeva Beloam besides "unforgettable pristine beach location with the friendliest and most helpful, most accommodating hospitality staffs I've ever met in my whole life". I travel a lot for work and I jump from one hotel to others in matter of days so much in a year. But I'm not much of a complainer and this place has nothing to complaint! Like seriously, I don't do bugs, esp flying bugs. But I even make friends with the bugs here. And it's still not the best thing here. First of all, the remote location. Not much signal, but they have wifi at the restaurant which is perfect. I get to choose when I would like "to be involved" in the real world :) and it is just totally perfect for anyone wishing to have quiet and relaxing holidays. Don't forget the limited electricity as well. They have generators running several times of the day and full-coverage in the evening. Then, the beach. Very pristine beach. Clean. Well taken care of. And beautiful majestic view. I have to admit that the waves can be quite hard at times so kids should be under very strict supervision. But I just looove this private beach. And the staffs! Very genuine, warm-welcoming, accommodating, friendly, and the most helpful people I've met. Despite all the limitations and restrictions there are because of the very remote location of the property, they always try to meet all of your tiny little requests and I love that about them. They know you by name, they remember ur habits (I always ask for ice cubes for my water and hot water at night). It's something you don't get from big-chain hotels and I live for this manner. The food are amazing! I had my favorite sate rembiga and nasi ayam kemangi. And you should try the fried noodle (mie goreng) for breakfast. It's very tasty. On the last night of my stay, I even had steamboat party with the rest of the guests. Some suggestions: - might be great to have movie nights together for the guests to add on the activities. - I personally like making my own tea/coffee. So maybe water kettle in the room/in the restaurant so guests can borrow? I'm really looking forward to coming back here more often in the near future. Shoutouts to Mahli, Jalal, Riadi, and all of the other very helpful staffs! Thanks for the endless hospitality. PS: they do secret surprises as well for your loved ones. Just arrange beforehand when you do the booking and you won't regret it. It was the most heart-warming moment of our stay there from the staffs. Thanks in a gazillion. …
Spent 5 nights here and enjoyed every moment, the staff were always accomodating with almost every request, including day trips as well as any small requests during our stay. The cottage we stayed in (#1) was the closest to the water and even better than we could have hoped, amazing spot to detach!
Beginning at the moment when the staff greeted us, we knew we had discovered of little known gem of boutique hotels. Our bungalow was expertly designed to reflect the local Sasak style, that is, if you are a rather wealthy Sasak. From the secluded beach area, to the outdoor fire pit, to the stunning beauty of the hike to the edge of the bay area provided some of our favourite experiences. Disclaimer: due to the location, along with the arid topography, electricity is run at specific time frames of day time, with full night time coverage available. The position of the bungalows beachside makes for cool breezes which counter the regulated generator run times for air conditioning. The food is top shelf chef prepared with one dish per meal. Due to the extreme remoteness, as well as off/on generator conditions, the food supply is limited but always fresh daily. …
My wife and I spend 5 days in December at this amazing, small and secluded hotel. The surroundings are so beautiful, the cabin overlooking the beach and sea are spacious, clean and very, very cosy. But the best is the true hospitality of the staff. Misro, Jamel, Lee, Otti and all the other guys goes way out of lenght to endure your stay is perfect. They are all so kind and smiling. I have traveled 48 countries and stayed in numerous hotels over the years, but this little gem is one of the best experiences I have ever had. Look forward to come back very soon!
Right on the sand of a private beach, can’t get any closer. Fabulous staff, all speak English well and go above and beyond to make you comfortable, meet all your needs and make you happy. Riadi does a very professional and knowledgeable therapeutic Sasak massage, Misrowadi and Jalan are excellent in guest relations and go above and beyond to make you comfortable, answer questions, guide you to locations and do whatever they can to make you happy. Volley ball is played by the staff every afternoon and is fun to join. Pink beach is close scooter/car ride, there you can also buy food and drink. Jeeva beach is raked every morning, very clean beach, cliffs are majestic at sunrise. This is a supreme romantic getaway, will definitely come again.
