If you love to immerse yourself in history, you must stay at this hotel when visiting Warm Springs. Built in 1907, it has a long history with this small, charming town that is home to FDR's Little White House. Don't expect a lot of modern hotel conveniences and accoutrements (no shampoo or hairdryers in the room), but it was very...

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The little town was cute and very close to FDR's home. Ms. Geri was extremely friendly and hospitable. She provided a lovely breakfast and gave us a detailed history of the town and FDR's visits there. We went to the overlook at FDR State Park which we would never have found without her...

This is a historic hotel, built in the 1900's I think, and had an original phone booth, switch board and original building. But this review is for the little ice cream parlor, which carries fresh fudge, Mayfield ice cream, and a homemade peach ice cream which was delicious.

We stopped in Warm Springs on our way to the Red Oak Creek covered bridge, the oldest and longest wooden covered bridge in Georgia, just a few miles north of Warm Springs. We stopped at the Hotel Warm Springs and chatted with the proprietor, Gerrie Thompson. The hotel and the attached ice cream parlor, where we ordered an old fashioned...

If you are looking for a flat-screen tv and conveniently placed outlets to charge your electronic devices, this might not be the place for you. If you like historic charm, antique furniture, and lots of history, then you absolutely MUST check this out. The building dates to 1907, and it shows its age. But our room was very clean, the...

I stayed overnight, with my parents, at the Warm Springs Hotel 50+ years ago. My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying overnight last weekend and, I must say, the experience was awesome! Gerrie is a most interesting and charming hostess and excellent cook. On my first trip I remember the heat and the humidity and the train coming...

We found ourselves at Hotel Warm Springs after a disgusting experience at a hotel in the next town over. Ms. Gerrie provides the perfect customer service and hospitality. After abruptly deciding to leave the first hotel, Ms. Gerrie had us a room at Hotel Warm Springs in about three minutes with a check in time about 2 hours later -...

Hotel was built in 1907 and has a rich history. The town proper could use some TLC. Echoing others' comments about owner, manager, historian and hostess - Gerrie is reason enough to stay the night. She's created beautiful spaces and has kept true to period. LOTS of antiques to appreciate. I especially enjoyed all the newspaper clippings that were framed...

The Warm Springs Hotel and B&B is a historic landmark in Warm Springs. Gerri, the owner, has worked hard to make this place a unique experience. If you are visiting anywhere in the Warm Springs area, you would be advised to stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a large living room area on the second floor and...

Gerrie has completely renovated the bridal suite and a beautiful grayish blue room with two double beds...I'd recommend either of those. Gerrie is delightful and is full of interesting Roosevelt stories so make sure to talk to her. Our room was okay, but is in need of some redecorating and a new blanket (family heirloom room). Breakfast was the same...

“Photos on the current website don't do the rooms justice. I understand there are some updates in the works. Although you can't see room availability on the website, I found talking to Gerrie's grandson - who was staffing the front desk at the time - to be most helpful in selecting the prefect room!”
