We had a cottage overlooking the lake. The cabin was nicely furnished, very comfortable and came well equipped with cook ware, dishes, flatware and serving utensils. Everything was very clean and neat when we checked in. We had fires going in the fire place every night and enjoyed the cool mornings on the porch. The cottage was comfortable for 2...

We stayed here over two nights as two couples and an active mid-sized hound. This is a relatively new 2-bedroom bungalow. Bedrooms are each equipped with two reasonably comfortable double beds, which means the cabin is technically rated for eight people. The price worked out to about $160 + $50 for the dog. There was a single standard bathroom, and...

Stayed in this cottage two nights. Cottages 1-4 are separate from the other cottages and are located next to the registration office. Cottage 4 was infested with insects (mainly spiders), and had mice in the kitchen. Upon arriving, my wife sat on the bed and was greeted by a wasp on her leg. After killing that, I noticed a bug...

Cottage 7 overlooks the small lake and was recently renovated. We stayed a week and loved it. We biked, swam, made friends, caught tadpoles and fire flies, and had quality family time. The charm and history of the log cabin combined with the new, modern kitchen and bathroom made this place perfect. The cabin included a box full of games,...

We stayed in cabin #10 in March, 2016 -- my first time back to the park since the mid-80's. While the rustic ambiance remained, we were thrilled to see that the cabins has been updated in 2015 with new appliances, electrical service, lighting and plumbing. The price is amazing for what you get! And, relaxation is automatic when you sit...

This was a beautiful park to explore. My husband enjoyed fishing. My teenage son and I enjoyed hiking, geocaching, and kayaking. We stayed in cabin 16 and the accommodations were lovely! We had everything we needed at our cabin to have a relaxing weekend!

I recently spent 2 nights in one of their stone cottages. I knew it was glamping from the pictures, but was really surprised at how up to date it was. Modern kitchen, bath and bedroom, Even Sat. TV. Unfortunately, no signal on sat. The ranger says they are still working on removing trees. It is so quiet and peaceful, just...

I/we, 3 lady friends, have stayed in cabin #5 on two occasions and we love it. Even the time we locked ourselves out of the cabin while unloading the car. It is a cabin that does not have any close neighbors, which is nice, sits back from the road more than most of the others. Great for relaxing after shopping...

With very few local traditional accommodations in Pine Mountain, I looked for something in AirBnB - nothing. I was about to give up and start moving outside of the area to find something. Then on my last try, I found a website that showed the park and the accommodations it offered. I had never been to the area but wanted...

“If you planning a trip in the winter months, I would recommend picking up some firewood from one of the local stores. The wood for sale on the F.D.R. cottage property was not dry and we had to drive into town to purchase some dry wood for the fire. Also, we stayed by the lake and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery.”
