I was not even aware of Washington, Georgia and it's deep history, much less the Fitzpatrick Hotel when I bought a Groupon for a two night stay for my husband and me. All I can say is, THANK YOU Groupon for giving us such a fabulous weekend! The hotel is beautifully restored to it's former glory with gleaming woodwork, floors,...

Last summer I purchased a Groupon to the Fitzpatrick, and as time was running out, my boyfriend and I decided to take a little weekend trip to Washington. We loved absolutely everything about the hotel. The facade is beautiful, as is the interior. The floors are all polished wood with lovely rugs. The lighting is soft. The hotel is filled...

We really enjoyed our stay here. We learned bout it through Groupon. It was really nice to leave the big city and slip back in time to a charming town with lots of interesting history. The Fitzpatrick hotel is beautifully decorated, the owner staff is warm and friendly. Fun to take a shower in a claw foot tub. We only...

My husband and I attended a reunion at this beautifully rennovated hotel. The beautiful decor made me feel like I was stepping back in time, but all the "modern" amenities were available. The room were spacious and the host and hostess were gracious and very accommadating to our every need. They arranged a nice walking tour of historical Washington with...

We recently attended a family reunion and stayed in the historic Fitzpatrick Hotel. Our room was beautiful with plenty of space and a very comfortable bed. The room was a nice mixture of historical furniture and modern conveniences. The homemade hot breakfast casserole and bread pudding really added to the continental breakfast. We were not aware of how much history...

The Fitzpatrick is a beautifully restored old (1898) hotel. Very clean. Quiet. Bathroom in the room was very nice. And Washington is a lovely town in which to walk around. Old antebellum homes, a soda fountain at the pharmacy. My wife and I had a wonderful time. The only reason I did not give five stars is that the breakfast...

This was actually my second time staying at the Fitzpatrick Hotel. The first time was in early 2005, not too long after they first opened. I was road-tripping with some friends over Spring Break. We stopped for the afternoon in Washington, and as we were walking around the square stopped in to peak at the gorgeous lobby of the hotel....

I found this hotel through Groupon. My husband and I went for our anniversary and loved every minute. The owners, Christy and Mike, renovated the hotel themselves and were very knowledgeable about the area. The room was lovely and comfortable. We ate one night at the Washington Jockey Club which is across the street. Great food! We had a wonderful...
