I have been to Brasstown Valley Resort twice. The first was a 70th Anniversary/Family Reunion for my parents and the second was a professional organization board meeting. As the organizer for both events, I cannot give enough accolades at how well we were treated in making the arrangements and how well we were taken care of by the resort staff.... More

Myself and a group of friends went up to Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa last week for my birthday. I was a little nervous about taking such a large group(5 girlfriends and 2 of their spouses, Myself + my boyfriend) two hours out of Atlanta to check this place out sight unseen. I have to admit that I was pleasantly... More

Brasstown Valley Resort is a gorgeous facility. Very rustic but well put together. Lots of windows and lovely views of the mountains and surrounding natural beauty. I've been here at business conferences twice before and I'm always delighted when I find an event is being held here. Georgia has very moderate winters and this time it snowed. Everything north of... I have been to this resort twice. My friend and I went there in 2013 and we loved it so much, we went back in March of 2014. However, the second time around was very disapointing. Everyone was very friendly but from the very first, we had problems. I am reviewing our March, 2014 visit. When we checked in, we... More

This resort is a definite we will come back. It is in the middle of nowhere, but i think that was the point. The resort grounds is massive. It sits right on the edge of Georgia, literally less than 10 min to North Carolina. The rooms was not luxurious, but a homey feel. The decor for the hotel was a... More

The State of Georgia owns this hotel facility as well as many others throughout the state. Though we have stayed at many of the other lodges this management company runs for the state, this was the first time at Brasstown. We previously assumed that because of the price that it was not state owned. We purchased a discount coupon and... More

Second visit here - the staff is so friendly and helpful! Lovely grounds and the lodge itself is beautiful. Perfect for the mountain setting. Beautiful living area with a small wet bar/fridge and the... More

Quiet mountain lodge relaxatiion. Being somewhat secluded it offers a great calming atmosphere. The staff was attentive and helpful. The faclities were clean well maintained. If you are looking for glitz, chrome or flashing lights, this may not be your cup of tea. If a comfortable home like lodge atmosphere is what you crave, this is the ticket.
